Hey everybody, all I want to know is:
Is there any good screen recorders?
I mean, Fraps: Good, but you have to pay, and getting a torrent sometimes reduces your FPS to 3
Camtasia: Good, but bad for Minecraft
Camstudio: Meh, sometimes files get corrupted
PlayClaw: Reduces my FPS to a really low number, and costs.
DXtory: Reduces FPS, have to pay and leaves massive watermark across the screen
HyperCam 1,2,3: Good, but when recording, video goes too fast, and words are not in place, and are out of sync.

If there's any other screen recorder thats FREE then please, leave a comment.
Also, it may help you if you want to try out other screen recorders! :D

I use Fraps when I want to record, it is probably the best software you can get for recording games.

If a torrented fraps gives you 3 FPS. Then it must be a bad torrent.

My cracked fraps works fine.

I'd suggest looking through our "Free Software List" or go Just Google search "Fraps Alternatives".

Whatever your issues with Fraps (Low FPS issues seem exclusive to torrent editions), it is likely one of the best pieces of software you'll come across for recording games.

There are a million and one topics of this nature. Try using the search feature of the Minecraft forum if all else fails.

Try the Minema mod. It reduces your FPS while recording, but it exports a really good video file. It takes up alot of ram the longer you record though, so make sure you have lots of ram.

Well fraps doesnt lag you, but takes about 700 minutes to upload to youtube. So BB Flashback sounds like the best one.

The bad FPS you get with a torrent means that it is corrupted or a bad file. Trust me, I, err, obtained Fraps in a not so legal way before switching to another program, and Fraps recorded Minecraft just fine. Wouldn't recommend it for other games, but if your PC can handle recording Minecraft with it, try searching for a better file.
