Very quickly, i came up with a super simple idea to disguise yourself as creeper, with the new mob heads!

1. Make bright green leather pants and tunics.
2. Put on a creeper head.
3. Drink an invisibility potion
4. ???
5. profit! and a bunch of scared people.

This may work if you are at a distance. You will die if the person has a sword.

If you hide in the bushes and jump out suddenly, they will be scared for an moment. But more fun is just getting an bunch of invisible creepers in your friends house XD

But that's just my opinion.....

Someone on my server stepped out from behind a wall in a creeper skin trying to scare me. It worked and i did the standard 1 stab, run move to put some distance between it and me so it didn't blow up my house. Turns out my sharpness/fire/knockback sword was a bit much for him without armor... Last time I saw a player pretend to be a creeper...

I doubt anyone with good enough eyesight would think you were a creeper.

The zombie disguise would be very convincing if you're still using the default Steve skin.

Or an bonafide zombie skin.

Creeper head + green leather armor + invisibilty potion = disguise.
Seems legit.

Just a floating head? That sounds awesome but not very convincing.

This is an interesting concept, though. I know we can spawn mobs wearing aromor and with potion effects.

Could we spawn invisible mobs wearing mob heads?

They would hold it I think, let me test that....
EDIT: Yes, they'll hold it:

It seems the mob heads aren't seen as armor as of now, Jeb, make it happen!

No, not what I meant.

Try spawning a zombie with the mob head item already equipped. I know it can be done, I just don't know how.
