Not bad, but it looks quite strange up close. Maybe make it just the slightest smoother on wild grass, and grass. Other than that it looks very good.

I don't know why people think that adding emboss and paper textures to pixelated images makes them look better. It makes no sense.

Big fan of this texture pack. So will be putting my bookmark here again.

One thing I noticed previously, but is there a way to get connected textures working? I don't really know how optifine handles it, and whether something specific needs to be done to the tecture pack, but I would really like to see that happen in this pack.

I also made Random Mobs for it in the old 256 version. I'll grab your 512 version and do the same things again. Really subtle variations. I'll send you a dropbox link so you can check them out. If you like it, I'll post them up as an 'addon' pack for your textures (I seem to have trouble repacking them on OSX so maybe you could help me out with that if you like it)

I just quite like the subtle additions. It's not making it 'better' or 'enhancing' anything other than my enjoyment of the game, and thats no bad thing. IIII don't understand why people use things like painterly as it kinda ruins the asthetic or Minecraft.. I like the default pack, I like my HD TV showing nice high-res textures that don't detract from the style.

Some people do it badly, CoCoNUT isn't one of those people.

Thank you very much :-) I just uploaded an version with connected textures which are supported by Optifine. Includes textures for chests and carts as well.

Do you plan on doing textures for any blocks/items that show up in the new snapshot? Or are you waiting for 1.4?

Didn't know there were so many new textures since the latest snapshots, so I updated this now to 12w36a.

I will probably use this once it's done, and if possible, do you think you can size up everything else, not adding graininess or all the extra work yet, but just sizing up the pixels, that way, if someone decides to use it now, they wont have funny looking textures, and it will be sized up to look like the texture pack added stuff.

Don't need or have to, its just a suggestion I wanted to throw out.

You have me confused for a second there. You only put the new items in the 512x version.

I'm using the the 256 texture pack with optifine and magic launcher. My flowing water animation isn't working correctly. It's flowing very slowly, like lava or as if it was high viscosity water. No one else is complaining about this, so I suppose my problem is singular. Any idea what might be wrong with my setup?
