Pandemic is a Hardcore Minecraft PvP Clan. We are built from a few dedicated members, whom are the best of what they do. Our aim is efficiency and organisation, which together make us near-unbeatable.

Though we might not be the greatest or biggest PvP Clan, we promise that you’ll never forget us.

We are a Nomad Clan. We go from server to server, quickly make a Faction Base, wipe out the biggest Factions, and then move on to another server. Ideally, all our members are dedicated, and are near-expert in their chosen area, hence the extensive Application





If you would like to join Pandemic, you have to follow some rules:

You need to have a Skype account:
This enables us to communicate without using the Server Chat. The Chatroom is for being organised in the server so we can get things done. Other than that, the Chat Room is purely just a social room, and can be just to talk to fellow Clan Members.
You cannot already be apart of another Clan:
As much as it shouldn’t matter, there could be a risk of double-crossing. Competitive Clans would adore some inside-information, so a rigorous Application and Interview will prevent any exchange of it.

You have to have a minimum of 100 posts on the MCForums to post an Application
Because we need to know more about you, we will look through your MCForums Content. If you don't have enough Content, we can't make a legitimate background check. Also, people with higher post-counts will probably be more mature, though this is not always the case.

Application requirement:
Just as a little assurance that you actually read the rules, please type the word "RoundFish" under your application. Please note, this word will change every now and again and we will give a 10 minute grace period after editing this thread. Any Applications without the keyword will be instantly denied. Please do not type this word in Caps-Lock or in a Bold red font. Just quietly after the last application question.

You have to be mature:
We don't particularly care what age you are, as long as you are able to reach the keyboard, and play Minecraft. However, if you act like a child, and prevent other people from having fun or getting their jobs done then that is an issue, whether you're 12 or 25.

You must follow orders:
Everyone has to do their bit, and if that means we want you to collect some Cobblestone, then just do it. Acting like a child will get you nowhere. If you are getting bored, just say so in a calm manner, and we can get you to do something else. As of 27/10/12, disobeying orders is under a "2-Strike Rule" meaning that if you break this rule once, you are then under the final warning (depending on the seriousness of the order that you disobeyed). If any other instances of disobeying, you will be kicked out instantly. (2-Strike Rule came into effect after personal items had been taken, even though there were direct orders to leave them alone)

You must be active:
We’re not going to be demanding your attendance every day like faceless robots, but if you’re not contributing when we need you, give a reason or you’ll be kicked out. Just appearing for the first day or two isn't acceptable. If you don't have the time for this Clan, then don't apply. More trusted members are allowed to take leave, as long as they tell us first. Being active includes talking in our Skype Chatroom, regularly.

Don’t harass other members:
We're serious about this rule; if you steal, kill, annoy, offend or just generally be a dick, then you'll be kicked out as fast as it is reported. Everyone in the Clan loves humour and jokes, but don’t take it too far. If you have an issue with another Member or Members, just tell the Leader, rather than confronting them.

Be a Teamplayer:
The key to success is good teamwork. That means that you have to share everything. No personal chests or secret stashes; if you found some Diamonds, they’re the Clans. Sounds unfair, but to be honest, at the pace that we're going to be working, materials will be freely available. (However, if you make enchanted armour/weapons, they are rightfully yours)

Due to our need of experienced players, there will be a two-tiered Application. One is an Application replied to this topic using the format provided below, and the next is an interview. The interview is held over a Skype Text Chat or Call, and will be just to know of your abilities as a good teamplayer, and anything else. Both the Application and the interview will be to make sure that we have the right player to be accepted to our ranks.

If you want to be accepted, please make the effort to be descriptive and very thorough for every question. If you post the bare minimum, you will probably not even make it to the Interview. You have to stand out from the rest of the Applications, so that we are more likely to pick you.

Please read all of this thread before you submit an Application.

If you take this application seriously, please read all of the Thread, as well as any Spoilers (bar the Changelog), as you may be questioned later on the contents of various sections.

We can't play with people who will lag whilst fighting, as it would give them, and us a disadvantage during raids, or other instances.

How many hours a day are to able to play Minecraft?:

Knowing how long you can play, is important, so we know how useful you can be to us.

Are you able to speak fluent English?:

Most of us do not speak any other language than English. Having a language-barrier could be devastating in a critical situation.

To give an inclination if you tend to jump from clan to clan, or you are dedicated.

How did you find out about Pandemic:

So we can work out what attracted you to join, and see if we can improve on that, to gain more potential Members.

This should be the most important Question, as it gives us a true idea if you are the type of person that we would want.

Telling us what you'd consider your best skills in Minecraft are, we could give a better evaluation on if you are able to keep up with us. (depending on some skills, you may need to add some proof, or samples of your work, for example: Making very good TNT cannons

By posting an application to Pandemic, you agree that you have read, understood and will follow the rules of Pandemic. You also agree that the Leader, or any Co-Leaders of Pandemic can kick you out for breaking the rules, with no warning.
You also agree that the Leader or Co-Leader can deny any application with no reason or excuse, but will strive to give a reason for your benefit, but you must remember that they are not obliged to.



Interview Tips:

• Always be truthful. Even if telling the truth sounds bad, you could still be accepted, as we love honest people.
  
• Try not to hesitate, or mumble.(Most of interviews are in Text-format, but if by the odd chance that you are in a Call) Most important when being interviewed in a Skype Call, as it would sound like you're not very confident, or enthused.
  
• The use of swearing is fine, but keep it to a very non-personal manner.
  
• Feel free to ask questions. If you have anything to ask, about anything (Even non-clan questions), always ask, as it shows that you have a healthy dose of curiosity.

Ranks are what makes everything ordered and efficient. Ranks are highly based on Specialities, but also on PvP abilities.


This is the entry-level rank, that everyone will be when they join. Each Member chooses, or is assigned to, a Speciality. A Member is required to follow all the commands of their Speciality Superior, Co-Leader or Leader.


Superiors are considered to be the best of their Speciality in the Clan. They are allowed to command only the Members in their Speciality, but have to take a fair share of the jobs, so that everything is done quicker. They answer only to the Co-Leader and Leader. They can be demoted at any time, if they are proven to lack the ability to command their Speciality.


Co-Leaders are the highest rank, bar the Leader, but are basically the same rank. They are meant to spread the workload of the Leader, making things get done faster. They can make higher decisions to do with the clan, including: accepting and denying an Application, kicking members, demoting superiors, and editing the Clan Thread.


Leaders are the utmost rank, and are answerable only to Notch and Bill Nighy.


Remember: No Member, Superior, Co-Leader or Leader is ever above working hard towards the Clan, which is situated in a server. Making someone do your work, because they are a lower rank is never tolerated, and will result in demotion or even a kick from the Clan.

Specialities are the jobs that a member of the clan would perform. They make sure that everyone is doing something to help the rest of the Clan survive.
Specialities may change, depending on how many members there are online or the urgency of the task. When there are enemies attacking or we are raiding, everyone has to fight, regardless of speciality.


People with this job are required to make sure that clan bases are made, to certain specifications, in the quickest time possible. We don’t particularly care if it looks good, but it has to function properly.

Requirements:
Needs to know about space, efficiency and quick building methods. Knowledge about TNT defence is very important too.


The farmer collects all types of seeds then hoes, plants, harvests and expands. A large farm is paramount to the survival of the Clan, and keeping it maintained it the Farmer's job.

Requirements:
Has to have an understanding of Minecraft Growing mechanics, and various efficient methods of farming.


Collects mass amounts of materials, like cobble and wood. The Hoarder is also responsible for an efficient Chestroom, or Storeroom.

Requirements:
Has to have a willpower of steel to collect many stacks of a particular item, along with knowledge of an efficient sorting method.


Hunters are the focused "warriors" of the Clan. They must be at expert level of PvP and PvE. Hunters that apply will be taken to a Test Server to be judged on Close Combat, and Ranged ability (along with a combination of the two).

Requirements:
Hunters have to be expert player killers, with a habituated tactic of Close Combat. Must also have good aim with bows across long distances.


The Miner’s duty is to obtain as much valuable minerals as possible so that we can fund our expansion, and raiding.

Requirements:
Has to be able to know Ore patterns, and different layer percentages of Ores.


One of the most important specialities, the Scout’s first job is to find a safe and resourceful area in which to build the base. After that, they must locate the position of any other faction land, nearby or otherwise.

Requirements:
Needs to have experience with PvP Faction servers, including the ability to evade combat, and judge a safe area.


With efficiency in mind, the Tech Builder has to build anything technical. This includes, but is not limited to: Traps, XP Farms, Mob Farms, Automatic Food Farms, TNT Cannons.

Requirements:
Must have an extended understanding and experience of technical builds.

On tuesdays - thursdays I have football practice for 2 hours (7 EST - 9 EST) and won't be on after that. On thursdays I have piano practice in between football for 30 minutes, but I still have 2 hours after that. So, I think I'll be dedicated to 1 hour +.

Even though that may seem weird since I have been in so many clans, I considerd myself loyal because every time my friend SGTliger made a clan, I followed him to each one he made, or joined. Now, I think its time to move on however, since SGT has stopped his clans I hope to try some new ones out too.

Anyways, I want to join Pandemic because I know the leaders, I've played with you and even battled you. I like the way the clan is set up, including the rules. It looks well thought out, and overall looks like a fun atmosphere. I love having serious clan leaders who are active and dedicated to their clan. That's why I want to join .

• Paragraph about yourself: Well, I've been playing minecraft for about 10 months, and have lead I think a total of 6 clans, and been in 8. I act maturely and prefer to use proper grammar and have other use it. I play football as you probably know, and will be playing rugby in the spring. I am in the 7th grade, so I have like no homework. I like to troll, and frankly I am good at it. If this needs to stop I will make it stop, as long as I can troll enemies . Surprisingly, I love to read, you might even call me a book worm. My favorite subject in school is math. I'm energetic, happy, and can get serious. That's pretty much all about me.

The fact that you have been in so many clans, suggests that you are fickle, or you are being kicked out for one reason or another.

Also. We require people who are totally dedicated to the cause, which means that we need you, you are ready to play. Having so many things on your timetable, but only enough time to play an hour of Minecraft isn't enough.

All of the clans I have been in I have made, except one. I am willing to do a lot to join this clan. To prove I am not lazy, I would like... A trial. Oh and, why can't we copy and paste the app. I read the whole OP... Maybe I missed it. The one hour thing, is at least one hour. It depends whether or not I have a lot of things to do or not. I hope you can help me.

The real question there is: Why do you make so many clans? And what is the reason they keep dying?

I couldn't bare the inactivity, no one was ever on besides me. We were raided day after day because no one was on. But, this wasn't the case with Siege Craft. OIN was too good for us, and had a good tactician (Kevin). Samurai Reborn was disbanded due to, skitty and SniperSling destroying it. I do not blame them, but blame myself for getting mad at Sniper for something small. I have become friends with both of them. The rest, I just got tired of leading, I was tired of the burden of... getting raided, dealing with the problems, and so much more. I wouldn't say I was lazy, because I put a lot of work into that. As for Koi/Eagle Imperium, we merged. Merged with Spartans (As you well know).

Inactivity, mostly by the members. I didn't have any voice communication so I think most of them joined and never came back. Tl0120 was one of the few that stayed.

Why would they leave? Surely they would stay if it the clan was run properly.
