Hey guys! this a small guide to finding diamond in Minecraft Pocket Edition!!! 0.3.3

Things you will need:

Iron Pickaxe- 3+

Iron Shovel- 2+

Torches- 100+

Chest- 1+

Crafting Table- 1+ this is for crafting more tools

Furness-1+ this is for smelting any iron found

Ok thats what you will need!

Next Step: Mine a single corridor stair way all the way down to Bed Rock, Once at Bed Rock Mine around and find the highest level of Bed Rock.
Then start mining a big room, size dosent matter. After you have done that make corridors 2 blocks wide and 1 block apart you will need to make at least ten or more. When you have finished that start mining in the corridors and hope you find diamond.

Thanks everyone!  i hope it works for you!!!

I make a mineshaft 5*5 till  bedrock.  Mine around the shaft (2 block height) at bottom level and then make a second level and so on... Am making the 6th level and will be expanding the other ones aswell.

It takes time but well worth it. See pictures below.

I find most diamonds starting from 9 to 12 blocks above bedrock.  11-12 is a 100% success rate for me

On the Xbox I sometimes get pissed I can't find diamonds and usually by doing this I get one and yeah I know if I dig down I'll fall in a cave

Finding ore 101: dig down, dig around. How much more complicated does it need to be?

Nope.  100+ torches takes up 2 stacks. 1 stack of wood + 1 stack of coal (64 of each) makes torches, tools, and is useful for smelting. You list the crafting table with no wood for tools and a furnace with no coal for smelting. Maybe you find some coal while digging, but there aren't any wood-ore blocks underground. Inventory management. It's fun.

Don't carry extra tools around, just make them as you go. And if you're using iron to make shovels you're doing it wrong.
