have the dirtslab return as a biomespecific version for the gravel slab. also add other gravelslab variants for other biomes aka sand in deserts and podzol in megataiga etc.

Monsterfish, awesome pack.

One thing I noticed, on the Sandstone meta 5 (the natural looking one) connected textures seems to be broken on the North and East sides, it looks fine on South and West. Would love to use a more natural looking sandstone in my builds.

I would love to download this pack because it looks amazing, but your download site is honestly terrible and makes downloading anything impossible without, most likely, downloading tons of malware, and even with the malware gods appeased, I don't think I would have a resource pack to show for it.  Please move it or make like a guide to navigating that site without getting infected by ALL of the viruses.

But seriously, great work with this pack, hope I can download it soon.

Great pack and two questions first: in the reference image for meta data's there is a meta data for leaves that looks like cherry blossoms but for me that is not a texture in the game. second: may i edit a music disk to have a voice over intro for a map i am making soon? Posted Image

Like the looks of this pack, but it is currently impossible to download.  The green button on the resourcepacks.org page no longer links to the download.  It circles back to adfoc.us and starts the whole malware cycle over again.

Edit:
Well, I finally got it to work.  The second adfoc.us link did finally give me the Conquest download.  It didn't the first time, though.  Just have to be persistent.  That's a really good reason for nobody to bother with your pack, though, so I would STRONGLY recommend switching to another ad service.  That's the most annoying one I've ever encountered.

I love your TP but I lack some things there: P

Bruh aren't those from Westerose (the game of thrones recreation) that's actually stuff from a custom mod for that specific server.

actually thats from the dokucraft the saga continues forum. they are in the creative pack version (except for the table drapes, they havnt made it in yet)

Is there a site or place where I can see all the different metadata textures? I feel like I am missing out, havent tried everything yet.

If you look at the original post, under the screenshots header there's some blue text saying 'click here for reference sheet', that's the meta textures reference sheet, you can save the image file, and next to that there's a table for all the biomes pecific textures

Sorry it took me a while to reply. I want to use the natural textures for this resource pack (natural.properties, which I believe has to be manually put somewhere), but I don't know where to put the file. Does this make sense to you now?

Same here. I tried the new version 6.7 but it's still not fixed. You can fix it youself by going to assets\minecraft\textures\blocks\ in the ressourcepack and removing the capitals from double_Plant_rose_bottom.png and double_Plant_rose_top.png. It's working.

By the way, there is a psd in environement, and a copy of rain. I guess it should be removed.

@jozefmery cant you specify slabs in the plugin as well?

@diseased_robot you can use the setblock command of defaultminecraft or singleplayercommands its like worldedit that you have on servers other than that if there is a modder who wants to make a mod that does add those blocks to the game feel free to do so ;D

@Thaumoctopus thats because you have 1.7.2 it has a bug if you use 1.7.4 that bug is fixed

@Technicolor_Bear/Gaeniel thx for pointing that out since i always work in a folderstructure instead of a zip i dont notice bugs like that since it gets eignored by the game

@Xathule thats because they are biomespecific there is a biomesheet in the mainthread next to the metadatas  =) as with the music if you add it as a addonpack that sure would be okay with me =)

@Esrevinue_Miner there should be a natural.properties file in my pack already just replace that one and it should work note that ctm overwrites natural textues so if the block has ctm it will not be affected by natureal textures

Monsferfish, I'm very glad I came across your pack. i've been trying to find "the" pack for my map for quite a while now. (I've been working on an adventure map for over 2 years. It still has a ways to go!)

I'm really enjoying the pack, though I do have one thing that REALLY bugs me about it, and john smith, maybe you can give me some insight on your plans?

Paintings.. I find it very difficult to work with a pack that has weird things like doorknobs, knives, banners etc. as paintings. I usually just delete the paintings from the pack and use vanilla, but they do tend to spoil the atmosphere a bit.

I'd like to be able to recommend the pack as the "official" pack for my map, but I can't do that unless the paintings change. Any plans on that?

Also, general recommendation, if you don't mind. Some kind of more transparent versioning system? When I go through your ad.focus links I get a "Conquest_.zip" that really tells me nothing as to whether or not it's newer than my current version. Since you're still indev on this project, it'd be nice if we could tell when the pack updates. I know your thread initially said weekly updates, but.. you and I both know how life tends to get in the way of hobbies.

Why don't you modify the paintings yourself ? I'm making a huge paintings template using paintings ++ mod for my private server (i took these paintings from tons of sources so i can't credit), you can certainly find some that might suit you. You can put the new paintings file in an addon to conquest for your server.

I would be just fine with that, but then I'd have to release my "custom" version of the pack with the map, or at least the custom paintings file with instructions to add it to the pack.

Since the map uses noppes NPC mod I suppose the player will have to be somewhat familiar with mods, I just worry that every additional item I add mod wise turns someone off to the map.

I don't suppose it'd make sense to release the whole pack with the map so much as just one painting file. Which.. now that you mention it, would do well to fit the lore, I suppose, since I'd most likely use screenshots of the map itself lol.

THE ADDFOC SITE IS NO LONGER SAFE.

so i click download 1.6.4 and newer and it takes me to the adfoc site like normal. HOWEVER.

when the timer is done it doesn't show the click here button.

i reloaded it like 10 times and it never showed.

i thought it was just a visual glich so i clicked where it normally shows.

it started to download a SETUP.EXE for a virus.

i almost died of a real freaking heart attack because i had to click cancel faster then you can even blink because of how fast my download speed is.

almost broke my hand too because if how fast i whip cracked it.

­ING STOP USING AD SITES. just put adds on your own god damn site page so you get the revenue without endangering EVERYONE who wants to use your ­ing texture pack with virus adds.

i believe that in the next minecraft update (1.8) you can bundle packs with worlds, and if you running a server you should already be able to apply a server based pack

      • Replaces the files in /assets/minecraft/models/
      • Block format: UV has to be [0,1] (Textures cannot "borrowed" from neighbouring block textures), planes need to have 1 axis 'identical' (so aligned to either x,y,z), plane rotation can only be -45/45 on a single axis, from/to and uv coordinates are in 'pixelspace' (multiples of 1/16th of a block)
      • Rotation is in increments of 22.5 degrees on a single axis

downloading a setup.exe does absolutly nothing, clearly you have no idea how computers work, it's only after you have download AND clicked the setup.exe that anything happens, and even then it always asks you if you want to install unknown software

and it's not adfocus's fault that you dont know where to click, its up to you to understand the layout of a web page and where the false download links are. if any setup.exes come up without you clicking then just exit them... thats not hard
