This simple redstone machine turns simple chicken eggs in to little baby chickens.
Chicken Compressor
Difficulty - 2/5 Redstone Masters - 4/5 Noobs
Materials - Redstone, Redstone Repeaters, Solids, Dispensers, Levers, and food.

Building the Mechanism To start, build a rapid pulser (redstone logic gate - http://media-mcw.cur...dLogicGates.png)
Connect the pulser to as many dispensers as you wish (I would suggest 7 max, because more can cause entity lag)
Add a lever, and fire the machine. You can also hook it up so that it works with arrows as well as eggs and snowballs.
Aesthetics You obviously want to customize it to your own liking. For me, I built a large area for the chickens to sit in. I put lava walls in front of the dispensers and used a lot of stone brick.

Creates a barrier to allow only chickens in and out.

Loses a bit of efficiency as the chickens can catch fire when hitting lava the lava.
