Episode 2 is up sorry bout the wait, i'm thinking Sundays is the best time for me to upload them (since it takes a good 10 hours to do so for me) Probably the only thing i hate about my pc is that i have limited upload and download speeds.. XD
Hey there, Gecko! I'm currently playing the fourth Respectable Regions, Flat. I have to say, for an easy map, that mountain with the wolves was a bit hard (of course, I just stacked up a little bit away from it and got in it easily, but the potions were REALLY powerful). Anyway, I'm pretty much enjoying the map (although, I have to admit, I don't think it'll be nearly as fun as the Ruthless Regions) but where are the pumpkins and the melons? Just wondering.
Anyway, it is clearly obvious that your mapmaking skills are getting better and better as you make more of your maps. The difference between Ruthless Regions #1 and Ruthless Regions #6 is staggering (well, at least that's the impression I got from the snapshots). I sincerely wish you good luck in this Regional map series! I bet that Ruthless Regions #10 will be impressive. The things with your first map was, like the guy from earlier said, normally generated Minecraft with some structures, some really impressive structures at that too, scattered here and there. But with the sixth map in your series, I feel like this series is going to get a lot more interesting with each upcoming map!
Gecko, just a recommendation for your Flat map. I seriously could not find the melon, even in Creative Mode, so I thought maybe that the 'kill switch' might lead me there. Of course, I died, stupid me. Can you possibly make the watermelon in in easier place to spot? Or maybe, if it's not in the map by mistake (completely acceptable), can you go back and edit the map and post it back up again? Thanks!
By the way, I eventually gave up on my melon-hunting and spawned one in, sorry.
I did manage to find the pumpkin I was missing in my last comment though. Silly me, I forgot about the iron golem place!
Anyway, done with your Flat map. I might play one of your Ruthless Regions maps. I'll play... well, might as well start from the beginning, right? I know you say that your original maps were bad, but... whatever.
Wow. Just... wow. When I booted up Lucky Lands, I was expecting... well, let's just say I was not expecting this. It was a lot better than I expected... just wow. You don't deserve ANY hate.
Thanks, glad my maps are being played and you enjoy them, I took a short break to play terraria for a while, but im starting my new map and it should be out in a few weeks (ts going to be awesome since ive learned how to use command blocks better)
I've happily been playing The Lucky Lands for a few days now, and I'm almost done. For one of my last monument pieces, I decided to enter the Ancient Jungle, where of course, I found the river hint. I looked around, found the ancient treasure, activated all the traps, and did anything that I could possibly do to find the monument piece. I still haven't found it. I've climbed all the trees, swum through most of the nearby river, and still couldn't find it... Gecko, can you give me a hint as to where to find this piece?
um, search the river VERY thouroughly i hid it too well...look for a 2x2 hole in the riverbed near the pond area
and the next map will be a rough region, while i make that map I think of ideas for the next respectable map, its all part of the process lol
Okay, I think I've just experienced some unforgettable moments in The Lucky Lands. First of all, with Lucky Lands, it seems like that whenever you put me in a trap, I can't escape, even though I can just stack back up with blocks. You might want to do something about that, just a recommendation. Sometimes, too, it feels like you want me to do a dungeon one way, but there are other ways to do it. For example, the Ivy Temple, I just stacked to the top outside and dug in from the roof and got a free monument piece without any true effort. Anyway, I found the hole in the river at the jungle, and easily completed that, and then I decided to enter the Dead Tree. I thought it would be easy, so I just stacked to the top. Wow. At the top were millions of spawners. I died for the first time in the map! I finally managed to obtain the cactus, then I jumped into some nearby water. After that, I only had three monument pieces left! I headed to Diamonds Domain, where I got bombarded with Blazes. A bit harsh, if you ask me. I did manage to obtain the pumpkin, and now I have two monument pieces to go! I know one is in the Volcano of Doom, but I am not sure where the other one is. Anyway, just thought I'd post my progress through the map.
Finally finished The Lucky Lands! The end was a bit... unexciting. That pesky piece at the Pig of Power! Anyway, I just have a few questions. First of all, the grass you obtain is... strange. It's a green dead bush. Is it supposed to look like that, or is there something wrong? Also, what's up with the signs that as for the F2 screenshots? Well, I guess that's all. I think I'm going to play Peaceful CTM #2, and then play the Rough Region #2 (The Cherished Lands, I think).
the dead bush is your refering too is probably a fern and f2 takes a nice picture you can find in your screenshots folder. The traps now are instant deaths, so you wont have to worry about stacking out > hope your are having fun
Okay. So, I kind of took a break from Minecraft for a while, but now I think I'm starting to get into it again. I had a tiny little freak-out when I couldn't find these maps, but now that I've found them, I think I'm gonna do the second map!
