If you live near a Big Lots , they always have tablets ranging frm $70 - $130 . That can all run Minecraft PE. I purchaed a Pandigital Planet with frnt and rear camera 7" for $115 and recently purchased a Polaroid 7" for $ 99

Not the best brands , but remarkable for the cheap prices . They now have 4.0 8" tablets for $89… I might buy another one just for the fuck of it ;)

Any 10.1" tablets? I would prefer the extra size

Nexus 7 and rooted kindle fire. As for 10.1" tablets you might be able to find a Hp Touchpad for cheap, it's worth a try.

The Nexus 7 is pure awesome. I've been playing some PE on it and I don't really feel like the screen is too cramped. I also have a Xoom that I play on, and the Nexus runs PE a little smoother.

My two finalists are the HP touchpad and nexus 7. I'll let you guys decide.

You can't run the full version on Android, which is what the Transformer Prime runs. Otherwise we'd have got it working on phones by now

I'd say Nexus 7 for the ease of not having to put a custom ROM on it. Oh and it's seriously beasty when overclocked to 1.64Ghz (over 7000 in quadrant :D) It's almost twice as fast as the HTC One X.

There mp4 players (Samsung's iPod touch) I guess it's a valid answer considering the samsung galaxy player is basically a 5" tablet.
