[12w32a] Monster with custom armour and weapons! {easy}

Introduction:
Hello everyone,
I have been playing around with the 12w32a snapshot and i really liked that zombies, skeletons and zombie pigman now have armour so i went around and changing it! =D

The Tutorial:
First off we start with opening up NBTedit.
Then in NBTedit click File > Open... and open up the Monster Armour.schematic you just downloaded.
Press the "+" to open up entities and then press the "+" where it says 15 entries.

1. What kind of monster?
Decide wich monster you wanna use, you can choose from:

Zombie
Set the string with the name "id" all the way at the bottom to "Zombie" by double clicking on it.

Skeleton
Set the string with the name "id" all the way at the bottom to "Skeleton" by double clicking on it.

Zombie Pigman
Set the string with the name "id" all the way at the bottom to "PigZombie" by double clicking on it.

Zombie Villager
Set the string with the name "id" all the way at the bottom to "Zombie" by double clicking on it, and set the string with the name "IsVillager" to "1" by double clicking on it.

Baby Zombie
Set the string with the name "id" all the way at the bottom to "Zombie" by double clicking on it, and set the string with the name "IsBaby" to "1" by double clicking on it.

Baby Zombie Villager
Set the string with the name "id" all the way at the bottom to "Zombie" by double clicking on it, and set the string with the name "IsVillager" and "IsBaby" to "1" by double clicking on it.



2. Armour and weapon!
To add armour/weapons click the "+" where it says "Equipment".
You can put any item or block in the game on every part of the monster.
In every part of the body you have 1 byte and two shorts:

Byte "Count" is how many of the item there are (for example 64 with the "id" of torches on the hand slot).
You have to have atleast one to make it visible.

Short "Damage" is how damaged the armour, sword or tool is.
if you set this to negatives it's unbreakable for some time.

Short "id" is what the block/item/armour id is in the slot.

The first "+" from the top is weapon (does NOT work with zombie pigman).
The second "+" from the top are the boots (will not be visible if you put anything else than boots).
The third "+" from the top are the leggings (will not be visible if you put anything else than leggings).
The fourth "+" from the top is the Chestplate (will not be visible if you put anything else But a Chestplate).
The fifth "+" from the top is the Helmet (will not be visible if you put items and will act weird if you put blocks with differend models).


2. Enchantments!
To put an enchantment on the item your monster is holding or the armour it is wearing press the "+" tag inside the armour thingy. then press the "+" where is says ench and once again press the "+".
Here you see 2 Shorts.

Short "id" is the enchantment id.
0 = Protection
1 = Fire Protection
2 = Feather Falling
3 = Blast Protection
4 = Projectile Protection
5 = Respiration
6 = Aqua Affinity
16 = Sharpness
17 = Smite
18 = Bane of Arthropods
19 = Knockback
20 = Fire Aspect
21 = Looting
32 = Efficiency
33 = Silk Touch
34 = Unbreaking
35 = Fortune
48 = Power
49 = Punch
50 = Flame
51 = Infinity

Short "lvl" is the enchantment level (max 128).

Note: If you do NOT want any enchantment select "tag:1 entry" and press the red cross at the top to delete.


3. Putting it into the game! =D
Save your NBTedit as [name].schematic you can now close NBTedit.
Open up MCedit.
Load the world you wanna put your monster in with MCedit.
Press the button in the bottom of the screen that says Import (crane icon).
Select the schematic you just saved and put it in the world where ever you like.
Press Ctrl + S to save your world. Close MCedit, open up minecraft snapshot 12w32a and go to the world where you placed your monster in.

Now you have your monster with custom Armour and/or weapon! well done son!


4. Make your mob spawn customly from a Monster Spawner! (optional)
To make your mob spawner you have to Open up MCedit one more time.
Download this filter and install it into your MCedit:

This filter was mady by SethBling, check out his youtube channel! www.youtube.com/user/sethbling .

Select your custom monster (the red box) you just placed into your world.
Click on "Filters" (the coffee can icon) and select the filter "Create Spawners" and press Filter.
Now Ctrl + S to save and check out your world! Now you have your own custom spawner with custom monster armour and weapons! Good job!

Cool. But isn't there an issue of the monster despawning if you are too far away?
Maybe you should make a tutorial for a custom monster spawner as well for armoured zombies/skeletons.

I have an easy solution to make spawners with it! =D
SethBling made an MCedit filter where you select the entity and make it into a spawner with one click! Thanks for your idea! Posted Image

I made a zombie with diamond sword

it has sharpness

and I set its level to 128 (Because you said max level is 128)

And I wanted to try it.

When zombie hits me my game crashes please help !

Search on youtube "sethbling" he has a better way to give monsters armour!

actuelly its 127.
or its a bug.
or your client tries to load so many chunks you run out of RAM

Server/Client crash if you hit or get his or the mob that spawns from the mob spawner hits anything any new update for 1.4.6?

My schematic ideas for you:

mob: Zombie
weapon: Golden-axe (enchants: Sharpness 1 | Knockback 2)
Helmet: White Wool
Chest: leather
Legs: leather (dyed black)
Boots: gold

You might also want to go in depth with the other entries, exp, OnGround, Air, Attack Time, Death Time, ect.

Edit~

This keeps going on every time I get hit and it's really annoying. This also happens when I get hit by a Zombie or a Villager gets hit by a Zombie.
