Forum Rules and Minecraft General Rules
Do read them before posting. I mean it. >:C
Grass Block is still here, though most of you have probably clicked it by now.
Do not suggest Vertical Redstone, Emerald Tools, Obsidian Tools and Skylands. They will be burnt in a hole.

Of course it doesn't work. There's no such thing as "fermented Nether wart". :/
I cannot imagine why anyone would be bothered by a night vision potion. How is it any different from adjusting the brightness in-game, only more so? Does this make PvP unbalanced? No. Do it make things a lot easier? Not really, considering the effort required to make potions.
Like everything that people rage about, if you don't like it, just don't use it! If you lack the intelligence not to use something you don't like, you shouldn't be on a computer.

Here's my opinion on it.
Even with Brightness all the way up, cave systems can still be dark as you get deeper within the cave.
What's better than wasting precious coal needed for Smelting and such?
A Potion that will last you.. well a portion of the adventure! But yeah!

I like to think of myself as a voice of reason.

Considering that it would likely only last a minute or two, I don't think it would suite a lengthy mining/spelunking mission.
I'm imagining more along the lines of chugging one before going monster hunting at night.

well in the snapshot it lasts about 3 minutes i think. Maybe you can add glowstone or whatever to make it last longer o.O?
Well if that's a possibility..

Also these potions are FANTASTIC for taking pictures in moutain biomes.
I didn't take a before picture but check out the total and complete lack of fugly pitch black shadows. Mmm. Visually satisfying.
Okay. So it won't upload. Trust me it's great.
