One thing that would make it better.....

Have a hotkey that brings up the menu when a chest or the inventory is open so that it's not there all the time.

It would be great to have a single hotkey that we can press and the mod remembers the last position used, i.e. if we press the hot key to close the mod from displaying then the next time that we play the game the display is closed, or if we leave it open then the next time it's open already when we open our inventory or a chest.

Pretty please.

Watching with interest :(

a couple of questions, (before i d/load)
can you edit an exsisting stack?
can you delete items?
does it work in SMP?
does itwork with More id's mod?
does it have tool tips when you hover over the items in the side panel?

I too think that the toggle hotkey is also a great idea (setup using guiapi so its all enduser configurable)
I'd also like to have the hotkey work in normal game mode so you can quickly add stuff to your work bar. (IE: that you don't have to have inventory screen open)

No; I figured the most common operation is creating items so that's all it does. You can always get rid of items and then add new ones. It supports wool, dye, and wood types. There's no support for stacks that are bigger than normal, or unlimited durability tools. What else would you want to edit?

Add :D and :D to your inventory and make an incinerator :iapprove:

Far as I know, no, since the inventory should be server-side.

It should. It reads whatever's in the game's list of items at runtime, so if the item list has been modded it'll read what's there.

Yes!

I'll think about the toggle/configuration idea. Right now I'm trying to whip my saplings mod into shape.

edit exsisting stacks.. ie: add more items to that stack, or does it add items onlt into next available empty slot

would you consider merging mine? maybe have an option to do it your way or my way? that would allow you to make use of my (rather simplistic) infinite stacks and item deletion, as well as meaning no duplicate functionality between our mods.

A few things to make this better: a hotkey for it so it doesn't always appear. Make it work for multiplayer as well, that would be nice.

I've yet to install this one. I like the one by lahwran, I am currently using it. the only thing that i can see that this one does that theirs doesn't is the ability to add stuff straight into your inv (or chest i'm thinking, like i said i havn't tried this one yet as i use over 30+ mods and its a lot of work to change anything lol)

I may have an idea: Some box where you can add the damage?
And negative damage ofcourse.

Edit: Ok. Thats it. I got Minecafter. Put the zip in the with the read me and all that in there.

It said TooManyItems (2) Lauched. and it keep crashing on me.

Sorry for all the whining, can someone make a video or something for this. It my first mod.
If your on a pc navigate to C:\\users\(your user)\ then type appdata at the top of your window and then go to roaming and .minecraft then bin in bin open minecraft.jar as an archive with 7zip. Open the zip file from this mod and drag the two class files into the minecraft.jar. in minecraft.jar delete the META-INF folder and close the window your good to go. If your on a mac go to /user/your user/library/applicationsupport/minecraft/bin and open minecraft.jar with archive utility and delete meta-inf then drag the class files into the folder. After that compress all the files into a zip move the zip into bin rename minecraft.jar to what ever like minecrafO.jar then rename the zip file from archive.zip to minecraft.jar and your good to go

This looks amazing. I just downloaded it and put the two class file included into my minecraft.jar and loaded everything up fine, but when I opened my inventory there was no item menu like the one in the picture. Can someone please help?

Are there any mods this that are incompatible with? I have alot installed, so maybe thats causeing a problem.

Foogaler After putting the class files into the minecraft.jar file make sure to delete the METAINF folder
this will prevent the exe from deleting your mod files

or just backup your modded jar and download a new one
put the new mod into that one
