This Texturepack is a 32-Bit Texturepack called "Luciscraft", which I have spent the last few months on, gradually texturing and retexturing everything I had an idea for.
First off, the name LucisCraft is derived from the latin word "lux", which stands for clarity, light, lushness, which is the feel of the pack I was pretty much going for.
Everything in this pack is handpainted and drawn by me.. I have stuck a rather tremendous load of work in this pack, which is my first (Public) texture pack.
I've spent about 70+ hours on the pack, and while I realize the pack isn't nearly finished yet, I do hope others will be able to use and enjoy it at this stage. There are still lots of textures I have created, but not included because they aren't nearly done yet, and I prefer it when the textures that are released are mostly finished.
So please judge accordingly, and enjoy this texture pack. Don't forget to check back once in a while, as I'll make sure to update once I find the time. <3
So, this pack features:
- An "early spring" themed smooth feeling.
- Rather bright and lush natural colours, and is suited for both exploration and building projects.
- 32x (moderate) HD goodness!
- Mod Support to come!
Note: the link goes through AdFly in order for me to get a tiny bit of profit out of this, because I need to pay for stuff too. There's a direct link below this piece of text, if you were nice enough to read all of this and have problems with adfly or some other reason.

If you found any bugs or graphical glitches I may have overlooked, then post this in the Forum Thread so I can fix it as soon as possible..
Again, Make sure you have MCPatcher or Optifine, or any other patcher installed that enables minecraft to run HD Texture packs before you ask about any glitches or weird looking textures.
FAQ:
Q: Wait, this is your FIRST pack? o_O
A: Yes. Yes it is.
Q: Some of the textures look really weird, my netherrack is all water, and bricks look weird!
A: This means you have not used MCPatcher properly. Remember to also patch after updates.
Q: I know some techniques, or things you could've done way better then the way it's done now, or improve some of these things.
A: Then please tell me. I am here to learn on how to improve first and foremost, and any and all constructive criticism is actually very welcome. =)
Q: There's this mod I use, and it'd look nice if you could make textures that fit with it.
A: I'll take a look at it, and if I like it, I'll probably do it. I'm already thinking of integrating support with mods I use myself, but first I want to get most of the regular textures done.
Q: What programs did you use for this?
A: I used Photoshop for all my textures, and initially MC SkinEdit to get to know the skins a little better(Yes I know how that sounds :3). Apart from that, lots of trial and error, and experience through practice.
Q: I want to support you, but I don't like donations.
A: Then you can simply download my texture pack with the AdFly link. Any money you can spare is however greatly appreciated, no matter the amount.
Q: This pack isn't finished? WHYYYYYYYY?!
A: Uhm, it's still a Work In Progress. I spend most of my spare time on working and studying for college. And occasionally I do like to play a game instead of work, I'm certain you do too

I like it, It's smooth and still resembles default without it being a stereotypical simple pack. I'm only judging from the screenshots (but i'll be sure to play with it in game in a minute) but the glowstone feels a bit out of place, the orange hue feels a bit intense. I'm looking forward to seeing this pack finished.
Craftsmanship is good, but it feels odd to play due to the repetitive tree trunks. Also, this is just me, but I looked at the grass, which is a nice color and shade, saw the nice hues of bark, then REDBUILDINGS!(8(!*, which is a bit jarring.

What exactly do you mean by red buildings?
The red-ish tinted planks are jungle planks, same as in the default version, and those completely red blocks are dyes.
Been working the past few days on lava texture and it's animations.
Once that's done, I will update the pack, and then start on the desert-y textures more. Haven't done nay of those save for sand, and I'm kind of interested in them.
Bad:
-You need better pictures, nighttime shots do not show off your textures.
-Tall grass looks too much like default, and the foliage color could use more saturation (I'm guessing you're using the default one)
-I agree that the oak logs are too repetitive
-The roses are... weird. They look like they're about to burst spreading radioactive spores all around or something. Its edges are too bright and it just stands out too much
-The mortar between nether bricks needs shading, and it could be a tad brighter. or maybe even thinner.
-You ought to adjust contrast between individual wool colors
-Lava doesn't appear to tile well
-Netherrack looks more like an ore block or red gravel.
-Soulsand could use a more unique look to it. Unless that was your goal.
-Ores need more visible embedding
-The sand wave could probably be brighter. Less contrast works better for sand
-I think the books on the bookshelf could be more tightly placed
-The cloth on the enchantment table needs better detail (It's too smooth)
-Crafting bench/furnace/dispensers look underdetailed and too default-like imho
-Those specks on the glass... I feel they're unnecessary whenever i see them in a pack
-Oak leaves don't seem to tile very well
-You should probably remove the strip on the bottom of the sandstone side texture. It looks weird when you place it at the base of something. As if it's buried in the ground
-The black spots on the birch look a bit too big
-It's a matter of opinion, but i feel that cobblestone needs to be more regular in order to be a legitimate building material. You can't build a nice wall out of these rough stones.

A number of those textures are ones I made when I started this pack, and I've improved a huge deal since then.
I kinda feel bad there are so many things I didn't fix or overlooked, but now I certainly know what to fix and how atleast. Thanks for writing it that in-detail though, things like cobblestone I didn't even know were an issue. I'll try to address as many issues I can for the next update.
Also, you actually like the glowstone that much? Noone liked it in particular, or felt it was out of place. And to be honest, it wasn't that good at all. :V
I even worked on it yesterday, and changed it to something like this;
Still playing around with colours, but this one feels kinda tranquil, and when it glows in the animation it looks kinda nice.
Still though, thanks a bunch for the really detailed feedback. I appreciate it, and I'm already working on it.
Most of the changes are fixes and newer versions of my textures that were bad or needed improvement, but it was necessary.
Also thanks to Balduran for making that list of things I needed to improve. It really did help me notice things that were bad.
Changes this week:
* Emerald ore texture
* New glowstone texture and animation
* Fixed small tiling errors on lava
* Removed the lines inside the glass
* Changed Sandstone tiles so there's no longer a strip on the bottom/top.
* Changed sand texture.
* New rose texture

* Embedded all ores and toned down the glow effect.
* new textures for Iron/Diamond/Emerald/Gold bars.
* Vine textures
* Even more cobble changes.
* New painting
(AKA this was one busy as hell week. :P)
So, apart from that I'm going to try to update every one or two weeks. Depends mostly on my exams/school work I have left.
For the next update I'll try to finish either the nether textures, or whats left of the forest (leaves, wheat...)
That said, thanks for the support, downloads, views for the past few weeks. Leave me a comment if you like, or comment what you don't like. I'm eager to improve whatever I can. ;D

I did, yes. I loved how it looks like a glowing, infernal, crystalline growth. It was original
Still playing around with colours, but this one feels kinda tranquil, and when it glows in the animation it looks kinda nice.
I think you could still make the spaces in between reddish. I just enjoyed this amberesque/honey like feel to it.

Well alright then, changing it to give off that feel more then.
Its a nice texture pack, but it reminds me of Sphax BDCraft to much. I would still use it though
I haven't used sphax's pack, but I know that it's a very comic book sorta style. I don't really see the big resemblances, but I'll be taking that as a compliment since his pack is amazingly good.
