Welcome, one and all, to the home of the Maturity Rating Index Scan!
This index will supply you, as a server player, with an accurate assessment of your maturity. As a server owner, it will allow you to quicky judge the maturity of players without having to ask questions or produce lenghty whitelists. The ultimate aim of this system is to eliminate ageism from our community and provide people with a more accurate assessment of maturity.
I will score players out of twenty five, and gather data about players in three ways: I will ask that you post a short application, I will check MCbans statuses, and I will attempt to come onto the server you're most active on and assess you that way. Obviously it will not always be possible to assess someone this way, and so I might often only assess someone through the first two mediums.
Without further ado, here is the application for an MRI scan!

Paragraph:
This seems kinda weird, but here we go:
Gaius Julius Caesar was a poet, a scholar, a general, and the father of the first Emperor of Rome (Octavio Julius Caesar, also known as Augustus). He was so great a man, that every single Roman Emperor, whether East or Western, had Caesar in his name. He conquered Gaul, or Modern Day France that was filled with barbarian hoards. He also had many successes in Africa, Greece, Spain, and Asia Minor trying to fight off his Roman enemies. His most famous killer, Brutus, a grandchild of Brutus Junus the slayer of the Tarquins (The last kings of Rome) fled to Greece and were swiftly killed by the Romans there. Before his rise to power, he was the nephew of Marius, a consul of Rome (Seven Times). Marius was the enemy of Sulla, who won the Social Wars (a small rebellion of towns in Italy wanting more rights) for the Romans. Caesar won Rome over by winning a glorious battle against Pompey, the Master of Rome at the time.
Also, add "The Mine Wars" to the list of servers using this.

If it has been suggested a lot, then maybe, just maybe, it should be implemented because obviously a lot of people want it.

Paragraph:
I'd like to take a moment to analyze some recent events in popular internet culture.
Recently Facebook decided, as a company, to begin selling public stock of itself. Though most would call my view depressive, I knew that the stock would fail. Why? All of their money is either split with casual game developers, or comes from advertising, a topic I may elaborate on later in this paragraph. Any seasoned user of the internet either does not click on banner ads in the first place, or simply uses an ad-blocking plugin for whatever reason. But this was not the only reason this stock failed to impress traders everywhere. This opinion was widespread enough that most people who were playing the market at the time allowed the stock to fail, because they knew they would not profit from it. Thus shows the inherit truth behind most, if not all businesses. If you want to make money, you need a product. However, this recent development may have shown that the product in question must come from the business itself. But a business, is in no way a product.

A paraghaph on a subject of your choice: I believe you spelled paragraph incorrectly. Do I really have to fill this out? Fine then. Jane was plain. How plain was Jane. She took a train to Brisbane to sell her mane. It was quite a shame as Jane's mane was really quite plain.
First of all, I'd like to thank both of you for your applications, they mean a lot to me.
Now, Plet53. Judging by your paragraph and ban history, and my inablilty to find you on the server after a day, you've scored a 22/25. Congratulations!
Peregrin, your score has come to a square number, 16/25. While your ban history was commendable, your paragraph was a bit sub par, I'm afraid. Kudos on finding the spelling mistake though!
Isn't it just amusing that a person gets to RATE your maturity, while you're very aware of the rules and have all the time in the world to boast your pseudo-intellectual ********?
It's really hard to take people seriously, when they're proving their maturity by "battling" for some meaningless numbers.
Seems like nothing more than an ego stroker and if that's the case - please, go on.
It's clearly a fun game meant for nothing more than fun. Do you not like fun?
The actual intent is to provide a service for people that will hopefully eventually remove ageism. I find a lot of server apps have questions such as "Maturity?(1-10)" where people could lie all they like. This is hopefully going to remove the need for age/maturity questions and replace them with an 'MRI' question.
Although I enjoy fun too.
also, Slenderbaltr, your score came up to a nice 20/25. Well done! Your grammar in the paragraph was a bit flat, I'm afraid.
No, no, I admit that this isn't the most accurate way to assess maturity by far. I'm simply trying to supply something better, even if only marginally so.

What if someone doesn't speak English all that well? Some of my best players on my server aren't very good at speaking English but are very mature and follow the rules.
I agree with Darwin, one might be very mature, but uncapable of having proper English grammar, as their mother language is another.
Also, one could have perfect grammar, and may not be anywhere near mature at all.
But that is just my opinion, though.
Reminds me of a guy on a game called iRacing, on the forums he used perfect grammar but acted like a naive, spoiled, uneducated kid. He kinda became a legend in a way. Everyone knows him by name now.
