I always had this one problem. When I was gonna make a diamond sword, I only had one diamond left. Or when i was gonna make a golden sword, I had already used up all of my gold and only had one left. And so i made this mod to fix that, or take advantage of that. With this mod you can combine all of the swords. For example if you have only one diamond, you can add it to the crafting recipe of any other sword and you get the sword you made with a diamond incrusted into it.

This mod is a small part of a bigger mod which contains this and a lot more, basically a mod made to make your life as a minecraft player easier. (sheep drop food, this sword extension, you can use the ender egg to spawn the dragon, etc.) Please check it out --> http://www.minecraft.../#entry16814804

How to install:

• Download my mod and extract the .zip file
  
• Inside the folder you will see three folders: one containing a copy of Modloader, another containing an already set up minecraft.jar, and another that contains the files you have to put into your minecraft.jar file
  
• Open the folder "paste in the minecraft.jar" and put ALL of the folders and files that you see in the minecraft.jar
  
• If you do not have ModLoader already installed, there are instructions on how to do so in the Read me file.

So far this mod is for 1.2.5 but still works with 1.3, if needed, once the mcp for the 1.3 comes out I will update it.

Huh. Actually kind of interesting.

Little hint:

Make the sword not shapeless, but where you put the "encrusted" item, shapeless. Less confusion.

Well really its what you would think it. Basically what i did was take the damage and durability of the encrusted item, divided it by two and added that to the original stats of the sword you are modifying. for example the diamond sword has a durabilty of 1561, divided by two its 781. The wooden swords durability is 59, add 781 and the wooden sword with diamonds has a durability (max uses) of 840. And so on with the damage and durability of the rest of the swords.

yes the golden ones do. and no, the stone swords cant have things put into them bcs i didnt really think itd be much necessary. although now that i think of it i'll add that onto the mod, thnx

I installed and tried out the mod myself, no such error appeared... perhaps you downloaded the version why it was still corrupted, download it again and try then :3 oh and dont forget to delete meta inf
