I got up to over 500 on one of the snapshots! It was when they first introduced xp from mining and it was super op. And the level system was linear.

and one time I forgot I was idling at a spawner overnight and I came back with hundreds upon hundreds of mobs, got me from 30 some to 71

Somewhere around 130. Then I died without being able to use it, and I could only recover a pathetically tiny fraction of it, due to the way almost all XP completely disappears upon death.
