Hey guys, welcome to ZombieCraft. Zombie Craft is essentially Nazi Zombies for the game Minecraft. We are working furiously on making this all possible! Check out the latest Beta testing video:

So far we have re-created Nacht Der Untoten and most of Verrukt. We also have a special map coming up.

Now the big question on hand is, will this even be possible? Yes!

Even though, many of the games utilities will be availible in the finalized version. There are always things we may not be able to bring into the game.

What will be included?

We have a great team of coders. We do not typically need any new ones. But we are always game for some help!

true that :SSSS: I'm used to a different language (ASM) or I'd help... I have a nightmare to code idea of my own that would be sick as hell if it can be made :P try a block that flips gravity 1 of 6 ways D: normal 1 being the normal "down" gravity. but what is there to say... when you invert gravity and the sky is the bottom of the world now?

I imagine this mod needing somewhere in the order of..... 50 new ID's or so? several extras for the blocks (use shocka's extended ID's to remedy that.) and a LOT of items.

Also, yea? Enviroments, the two I am thinking of are maybe an Egyptian tomb you must escape from, and a hospital.

It seems like the main challenge here would be coding the changes need for zombies. First something to allow zombies to slow destroy plank blocks. Then your maps would be built of whatever, with plank windows for the zeds to break down. Then you would have to alter the zombies so that they can detect players at any range, without direct line of sight. So that they'll tear things down to get at the players. And then possibly a way to have their health increase over time? Or spawn faster? Tricky.

Spawning in waves might be difficult, but you could just have mob spawners spit them out all around the perimeter.

Upgrades, some would be simple. Juggernogg spits out armor, for example. Weapon markings spit out swords, bows, or arrows. Or food. You could use dispensers and some kind of cobbled together economy mod? Things like quick revive might be impossible, since there's no equivalent to that in minecraft. Other things could probably be upgraded though, like damage dealt or player speed, with some modding work.

Just a few ideas. I have no coding knowledge to help, but I look forward to the result!

This is really cool, I'd suggest, with permission of course, merging it with some of the various arrow mods so you can get explosive arrows and stuff later on. Also you might want to use adminium or find a way to make it so you can dig through most of the walls. Some secret areas you could find by digging through would be cool.
