Challenges compleeted so far:
Infinite water source: 3 pts
Wheat farm: 10 pts
A base/home: 10 pts
Iron armor: 10 pts
Every wooden tool: 2 pts
Every stone tool: 2 pts
Every iron tool: 6 pts
Make bread: 3 pts
I hope I don't die now xd

Meh, I'll give it a go... The 'no xp farms' bit ticks me off and so does the hardcore bit, but other than that, it seems great! *go's off and generates a new world*

but sadly I fail at Hardcore mode not to mention the underground part!! I'll probably try it on Normal first, then try the hardcore. 
Also if anyone wants to try it on a server and can run one I will probably be able to that in about a week.

I've only been playing minecraft for a few weeks but this sounds like fun and I'm having a go at this too. Overall I think I fared pretty well my first day. I was able to grab lots of wood, a handful of grass seeds, a bit of coal, brown and red mushrooms and some sugar cane. I've got wheat and sugar cane crops established and a big room full of mushrooms growing.
I've finally got enough food to start venturing out of my safe zone. This area is just riddled with caves. I've found an abandoned mine so no worry about running out of wood. I've already had several hair-raising encounters with silverfish - ugh! Maybe that's a good thing .. now I'm totally paranoid about getting anywhere near a drop off while mining. Fun stuff.
Points so far for a total of 90:
