Thanks, but no that wasn't it. No options used  I even took the same seed and re-created a world (I used creative mode to explore at first, but I never hit save).  None of the "extra options (super flat, bonus box) were used.

I can't get the dispenser achievment either.

UpUp_Away95: Unfortunately I am the 1st player, also my 2nd player on co-op had none of the achievments either. So I doubt it's that old bug.

Maybe it has something to do with creative mode even if you don't save it... just a thought.  The newer players have been getting the achievements at our house without any difficulties since the update, including the pigs fly one.

if it was splitscreen you did it on, were you connected to xbox live? just a thought to add to the pool.

I don't think you need to be connected to XBox Live to unlock achievements.  We unlocked the On a Rail achievement for a new player just this weekend in offline mode.  The new player was playing in single player.  They did it in their own world with a profile that has no online access; so the only way they can play in that world is in offline mode.

Creative disables acheivements, if you were on creative or have been on creative on that map before then you cant get acheivements. My friend did the rail acheivement on creative, it took us a week to figure out what went wrong.

Yeah I think it's a bug that got fixed. Or atleast they thought they fixed it. And if anyone wants to check this multiplayer map out which they probably won't it's called Build Something it's a game I created in Minecraft. Here's a link to the forum post: http://www.minecraft...uild-something/

So I probably should have done this first, but I just did a system cache clear (even though I read it didn't work for some)  And when I logged back in.  I had the "when pigs fly", "the lie" (cake), and "Dispense with this" already.

Yes I was logged into Xbox live (not that it should matter)

I'm a little sad I didn't get that fulfilling blip, but I did finally get the achievements.

PS: Apparently you can use creative mode to explore your world (to preview), then without saving re-load the world and start from scratch.  Because I did that for this map, and I've gotten 3 achievements so far.
