This is my first publicly released mod, so please don't be too harsh. But anyway, this mod allows you to throw bricks!
Mod Features:
-Bricks and Nether Bricks can be thrown with right click
-They deal 2 and a half hearts of damage
-Nether Bricks are a lot hotter than bricks and will set fire to mobs and blocks
-However, Nether Bricks won't set fire to anything in rain.
-If a brick is thrown a short distance, it will remain as a brick
-But the further you throw the brick, the more chance it has that it will break
-When bricks break, they drop "brick chunks"
-Brick Chunks can be recrafted into the corresponding brick
-Bricks, however, won't drop anything in creative. This prevents mess and item lag.
-Bricks can break blocks like glass and panes
-They can also break other blocks like tall grass, vines, sugarcane, crops, redstone, etc... (See chagelog for full details)
-Bricks can blow up TNT on impact
-Nether Bricks make TNT explosions a tad bigger
-A new type of brick: TNT Bricks
-Blows up on impact with anything solid
-Is crafted like TNT but with a brick in the middle or a normal peice of TNT with a brick.
-Bricks can be fired out of dispensers
-Dispensers can throw bricks with a lot more force than players
-Bricks have their own death messages
-"<username> was bricked to death"
-"<username> was bricked to death by <username>"
-"<username> was bricked to death by <username> using <itemname>"
-Bricks can be used in many different ways
-Skeletons can be killed a lot more easily, since it would make sense in real life
-The mod requires Forge
Changelog:

*Minor improvements
v2.1.47 (1.4.7)
+Bricks can now go through leaves and delay the fall a bit
A lot of people have asked for a higher resolution of the Brick Chunks texture. I don't have any currently made now, but you may use your own if you so wish.
Replacing the texture:
In the mod zip file, there is a deep folder under "\mods\Bricks\textures\items\" which contains all the image files for the mod. You can change them, if you wish, by deleting the old textures and putting in your new ones. However, the names MUST BE THE SAME as the original ones or the mod won't load it.
Using a custom texture in a texture pack:
If you have a texture pack, and want to have a custom Brick Chunk texture without replacing the default one, then you can use a custom one in your texture pack.
In your texture pack, there needs to be a new folder called "ThrowableBricks". Then put your new "bricks_items.png" in there.
If you have any trouble, please contact me about it and I'll help you as much as I can.
2) Put this mod in the "mods" folder, located also in your ".minecraft" folder.
3) Enjoy having throwable bricks!
Thanks to STooNeD, NikolaiTheEpicGenuis and everyone else who helped me with this mod! And special thanks to GoblinFTW, for this awesome mod idea!
I'd also like to thank TechGuy for teaching me how to mod. I would have never made this without him
And before you go, I'd like to point out that I didn't copy the mini mod series' idea. I had never even heard of the series when I released the mod, and as I said, I made this mod as a request from a friend. I also started from scratch and created it with my own code, not theirs. And as you can see in the videos, my mod is far different from theirs.
Thanks

And I know it's not completely original but he also wanted me to make the mod for him. I do plan on adding more features later, like throwing slimeballs and stuff.
More info later

This requires no api's and works with 1.2.5, not 1.0, so better to me.
Also, you are my hero as I have been searching for an up to date throwables mod, thank you sir!
Just a thought, what about slimeballs that could cast blind??

Hey, that could work! I'm planning on making slimeballs create a kind of slime goo (as in a block) if they hit the ground and that they cause slowness if mobs or players are hit. Though blindness for maybe two seconds would also go quite well. Thanks

Yeah, I too noticed the particles when I uploaded the image. I'll definitely look into it.
And yep, also looking into that as well. Thanks for the reply

Here's the video. Hopefully it meets your imaginary standards which I have invented right now for the purpose of the video.
