modloader doesnt require modloader.
Forge has built in modloader. so doesn't require it.

Mojang, stop it. Stop patching Minecraft. People want their mods, and even if MCP and cpw and LexManos can update quickly, the rest can't.

My mod Cube link in my signature, be aware if you install 2 no modloader mods it could crash your minecraft.

Too Many Items (TMI) and Single Player Commands (SPC)
There aren't many mods without ModLoader due to some of the mods needing to over write textures or need ModLoader functions.

As with all of the posts above, spc and tmi are really your only choices, I didnt want modloader.. until i figured out how easy it is

of course forge and modloader do not work together. any mods that require modloader, can be run with just forge. you literally never have to use modloader again. just always install forge.
