To anyone out there saying this topic is too long, your probally right. But some people try to break the rules then act smart. If you don't like this, change it to your liking. This is for your entertainment (and mine ). Most important rule:

Rules:

•You must stay out in the wilderness for one mincraft week
•You may build a house
•You may only be near or in your house at day
•Must be on survival (suprisingly)
•You must have and be able to use an iron sword to use a gold sword
•Must be on easy, normal, hard or hardcore
•Monsters must be able to spawn near you and detect you
•Spiders, endermen and zombies must be able to attack you (so no sitting on tree, pillar, lake, ect)
•There must be no light near you (Except at day)
•Not allowed to use tools to kill (axe, pickaxe, hoe, shovel)
•Must kill monsters at night
•Not allowed near or on a mushroom biome
•If a monster cannot spawn where you are (if you left that spot alone and came back) then you are not allowed there
•NO USING MODS!!! Unless the mod is useless in this case it is banned. Don't delete it just don't use it. (If it is something like mo' creatures just ignore it)

Requirements for swords and armor:

•Kill two zombies
•Kill a spider (at night)
To use a stone sword you must:
•Kill three zombies
•Kill two spiders
•Kill one creeper
You can also wear leather armor now.To use an iron sword you must:
•Kill five zombies
•Kill four spiders
•Kill three creepers
•Kill three skeletons
You can wear iron armor now.To use a gold sword (optional) you must:
•Find six gold
•Find one redstone
•Make a clock
•Kill three zombies
You can wear gold armor.To use a diamond sword you must:
•Kill ten zombies
•Kill ten spiders
•Kill nine creepers
•Kill nine skeletons
•Kill eight endermen
•Find two diamond

When week one starts:

The one week starts when you have an iron sword and can use it. You must kill an EXTRA amount of monsters to get the different swords.The gold sword is optional but every other sword MUST be crafted in order.You may not use a bed.If you die you can 'pretend' that you survived that night but have to start over (e.g. If I live the first two nights, die the third then I act as if I survived the third but had started over so the third night is now my first)A reccomended seed is 1 or love however you don't need to use them.

Optional easy goals:

•Kill ten blazes, five must be using bare hands
•Make ten skeletons fight each other
•Find an NPC village and protect them
•Find a dungeon and stay there for a minecraft day to two minecraft weeks
•Find pumpkins and make a pumpkin farm
•Find Watermeleon slices and make a watermeleon farm
•Build a two storey house complete with furniture (must look goodish at least so no dirt houses are counted to this optional goal unless you can make it look nice)
•Last two, three or four weeks
•Play on hardcore
•Do not use anything found in the NPC village
•Use no armor

Optional biome specific goals (credit to seernox)

Biome specific goals:
In a desert you:
•cannot go outside during the day
•must drink water (with bottles for potions) daily

In a snow biome you:
•must make a fire (can be from furnace) every night
•cannot leave at night.

In a swamp biome you:
•cannot drink or use the water (too dirty)
•cannot use the logs (it is infected)

In a forest you:
•must grow a tree daily
•cannot cut a single tree down unless you planted it

This challenge takes roughly 1 hour so it doesn't have to be done in the one go (as in you can log off then log in and continue playing)Any more optional goals anyone can think of? Also any loop holes?If anyone does it please share some pics!

The seed I used is love.
Tips:
No rules said no bows or fishing rods can't be used. If creepers won't burn from sunlight what will let them? Flint and steel Don't want to be attacked from all directions? Make a three tall house with no doors but instead have a 2 by 2 entrance. Make a mob grinder then damage them. Then finish them off. If you want you can make the grinders kill the mobs. TNT explosions count as you killing them.

If you don't like making new worlds then use a world you  already created and stay away from the house making sure you have nothing in your inventory.

I don't care too much about rep or anything, I just wanna know whether I wasted my time or people think I should make one.
Please vote. I'd prefer to be told it was horrible than no one replying. If you could improve it tell me how and if I like the idea (very likely) then I'll add it and give credit.

Cool, people like it! I had a few issues thoough when I was doing my challenge. It told me I could update and deleted my worlds! It also got rid of my mod and snapshot. I got it back though. And so anyone who thinks I'm using my mod is aware, I'm not using it. Creepers blow up if I hit them. So I may take a while.

In my opinion, you added too many rules.  If it's too complicated, I'll have to print them out and sit there pausing the game to check section 6 paragraph 2 to see if I can build with cobblestone yet or if it's the wrong time of day...

I know why you did it.  Too many smartasses finding loopholes in the original challenge.  Congress works that way too.  But I don't have to like it.

The whole reason I add so many rules is because so many people would comment going I just sat in a tree, or I'm in a mushroom biome. It gets so annoying (I must admit I sometimes do it if it's REALLY bad). Plus when you look at the rules it's says must be on at least easy etc.
Plus I don't care if you make it easier.
I can try to make it shorter if anyone wants.

Honestly, I know its long but it's not that strict.

Golly, I just had a look at the whole thing. I know theres a lot but if your going round with an iron sword on your first night with iron armor it really makes it easy. Sorry about the rules but you know some people. By some I mean about twenty people annoying me. Though I don't mind at all.

Also, I'm on often so any questions I am happy to answer.

On topic: Help is dearly appreciated. Find something you don't like? Tell me! I like knowing how to improve. Also, I know the rules are long but there are idiots people who won't stop at the end of the world to cheat/find loopholes. I know the list is long but I didn't say you had to follow the rules exactly. I did this for your entertainment so do what you want. The rules and challenge is to get some inspired whilst giving others a challenge.

Nice challenge however I believe it lacks a wilderness quality that it should have. To solve this I would reccomend certain extra challenges (put in spoilers so people don't think its too long, if you open up all the spoilers on the OP of the no crafting table challenge look how long it is...) like having different requirements for different biomes such as if you have been into a desert you have to go to water to re-hydrate yourself and it can't be the sea, or if you go into snow you must make a fire to get warm by either flint + steel or furnace and if you jump into frozen water you must do this immediatly or you have to have insulation which would be armour.

Also I would request a harder version of the challenge for the people who really want it such as no swords, no armour no rotten flesh.

+ one trick to stop monsters spawning in your house is to just place half slabs on it that can allow you to make a great house without the need for any other defense, and then you can just have no door and do what you have suggested.
