Hi everyone!
I wanted to post this video of the train station I made in Minecraft for me and my friends. I was looking for some feedback about my design or just to see what people thought about it!

Here's the video (watch in 1080p!):

This reminded me of the Coe's Quest Station. But, it was WAYYY better.
I'm amazed that you made it look so good and be so compact with all the wiring and tracks in a mash around the place.
This is top  :chestfront: .
Please, give some more description about how it works and such; Especially the holding area. I'm intrigued. Also, if you want to, I'd love to explore your save.

It takes a lot of the "Epic" out of it when you know how to make it ):, but would really impress me, is if you made the station that goes anywhere, at every station. That will take a while.

That seems too time-consuming and impractical. Its much more efficient to use one hub station, and making them all go everywhere would take way too long.

OT: Did you do this legit?

Wow, thanks for the diamonds!

Ya everything on the server is 100% legitimately grinded and built (if that's what you meant?). I've worked on the station's design a ton to make it super compact and quick. I thought about using a minecart hopper type setup to store carts, but the holding area was more fun to design, and seems to be more stable on SMP servers.

I will probably upload a save of the server if you guys want. It's mostly just random buildings my friends and I built, I might do it later because we're about to finish some epic challenge course, which would be fun for everyone to try!

Hmm. Your system to get the cart into the bay seems inefficient. What I did was to automatically send a cart to the bay. And you couldn't over load it with carts as the cart was sitting on a booster track. So, if a cart was in the bay already, it was boosted away. I might include a detection system for lone carts when wooden detector tracks come out.

Also, why the button solution? I find it to be a loooot more space saving to have a binary lever toggle. I use three levers for ease.

:(  :|:  :|:

And each combination sends to a different location.

Only bad thing is, you need a loot of gold for my one. I used around a stack of it on tracks and haven't finished the long distance tracks yet. Anyway, Good design, just lacking in the efficiency and space saving design.

Good Work!
