I have being experiencing this problem and i looked everywhere in forums, google, youtube adn cannot find a correct and afficient fixer.

PLZ HELP ME

the error message is

Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.

I have a windows vista system

i tryed making the notpads for launch, i tryed the runtime parameter, i tryed redownloading java and minecraft, i have the latest java version.

i still cannot FIX!!!!

can someone plz help, can any GMs help?

The same thing has happend to me under the same circumstances apart from OS (windows 7) SOMEONE HELP US

Ok fixed my issue.
Check if you are running 32 or 64 bit install.
If you are running 64 bit, you need to actually find the 64 bit download over on the java page, due to the default being the 32 bit, which will spit that error at you.

Yeah, so what about me, a 32 bit user, who has up-to-date java software and system software and still gets this message every time I try to do something with minecraft. I can't even open it.

1. What are your system spec?
2. If you use the launcher on its own, what error comes up?
