Lord of the Rings Mod



Hey guys Brennen here with TheMineAge and I am currently developing a Lord of the Rings mod for minecraft!!!!video will be on my youtube channel TheMineAge

this looks really good. if you are looking for more ideas could you either add orcs as a hostile mob, or possibly it would be even better to change zombies and skeletons into orcs, which would just have to be a simple skin change. also maybe you could make ents that are trees that when you try cut them down they wake up and attack you?

Can you try and make it so wearing the ring causes mobs to ignore the player, as if invisible?(similar to creative)

I am currently learning java coding now so maybe I could work with you on this? Also if you know how maybe try adding a new realm that is some what like the nether, but represents mordor. Add custom block types for that realm like the nether itself has. For example make the top layer Felinium(made the name up) which is a very molten looking surface, but at the same time has dead grass and stone on it. Maybe the lower level(which is stone in the default world could be Murine which is a shin metallic stone with a cracked surface, but is worthless. Also make new weapons such as gandalf's sword, orc weapons, and if you make custom blocks make it so that these blocks can be made into tools. MAke it like in beginning choose that your good or evil and if possible amek it your own custom world like tale of Kingdoms ask him for codings(that creater of tale of kingdoms) also use mcedit and ask fryeuk   look up on youtube and ask them to make minis tirith

Looks like a nice mod, might i suggest Aragorn's sword, (cant remember its name) where it could summon 2-5 undead warriors? just my 2 cents

Yes make it so that you have to right click.
I don't know if this is possible in a mod but if you can make it hit the ground that would be cool to

Oh yeah add some mobs like orks, ents, Golem, maybe Sauron that would be cool.
and i agree with some of the guys above this comment maybe get a few people to make a Lord Of The Rings World or make it a Story mod.
