It's done. My first gigantic project ever. Over 50 hours of Building.
WHAT is this?
This is a Minecraft Tower Defense. Zombies will spawn. They'll follow a path. They will try to get to the Heart of your Castle. And you're the person to stop them.
Buy...
Snow Golems!
Fishing Rods!
Iron Swords!
Bows!
TNT!
and much more...
30 waves, each one harder than the one before.
A fully detailed map.
Single and Multiplayer Coop Zombie-slashin' fun.
Go get em'.
I suggest to play this map on atleast Normal difficulty and normal render distance. The start of a round can be laggy, it's completly normal.
The 'Start Waves' Button is right outside the spawn area.
Estimated Play time: 30 minutes - 1 hour

News:
- V1.3 was released, adjusted the map to 1.3.2 and fixed more bugs.
The Good: I'm gonna go ahead and just say Tower Defense Map. But seriously, this map was awesome! Everything from visuals, impressive redstone, style, it was all awesome! While I have seen the zombie following system used before in Defense maps, Tower Defense Map used this idea in a very unique way! I really, really liked the use of Snow Golems! Very creative and surprisingly effective. The arrow launchers were also pretty legit. While not the most effective zombie slaying tactics, it was creative and effective for pushing the beasts of Hell back into the fiery pits from whence they came (lava). This setup alone would have made a fun map, but OTTOPI includes a little village with tons of awesome stuff to do! From a fully upgraded enchanting table, the magical Spring of Gold, to the store, everything adds to the effect brilliantly. Using the gold spawned in after each round, players can upgrade their defenses by purchasing additional Snow Golems, Iron Swords and armor, and a Bow & Arrows. While these supplies will take several rounds to earn, the starting supplies are perfectly adequate to keep you alive, while forcing players to use the shop if they want to survive. More impressive than anything (in my opinion) was the amazing redstone! OTTOPI included a full functional round counter, Tower health meter, and automated store dispensers. I could go on for awhile with the great parts of this map, but flattery won't do much help to OTTOPI.
The Bad: The minecart track often got stuck, leaving zombies standing still for up to 5 minutes on the track. While this bug saved my life numerous times, I'm pretty sure it's a bug, not intentional. If zombies are supposed to stand still at certain areas, feel free to correct me, it just didn't seem very intentional to me. Especially when both sides froze up after round 7 because all the Minecarts were stuck in their tracks. There was a section of track completely disconnected, which caused a 10+ minecart traffic jam. While I love redstone, the intensity of redstone dropped me down below 10 fps at the start of new rounds. I only classify this as "bad" because anyone with a single core proccessor or even weaker dual cores will probably be completely unable to play this map.
The Ugly: There was little text, so no worries on the grammar side of things And as I stated before, all visuals were awesome and fit the theme of a "Tower Defense" wonderfully!
The Summary: Tower Defense Map is really an outstanding map! Like Krafto der Toten, this map is amazing, but just can't seem to find its footing and stand out from others of its kind. The visuals, redstone, and gameplay were very well done, but OTTOPI just has a few bugs to wrinkle out before this map is spotless. I'd definitely recommend this map to anyone who loves Tower Defense flash games like Bloons Tower Defense or Mushroom Farm Defense! Tower Defense Map provides a great half hour of gameplay before it bugs out. For maximum enjoyment, I'd recommend a strong proccessor and playing with 3 or more people.

Suggestions:
Spoiler:
-Fix the minecart rail line in that one corner on the right side (shown in my LP)
-Try to find some sort of way to make the arrows more powerful, because without the minecart bugs, I'd never have survived past round 3 in singleplayer
I really can't think of much else that could make this map more epic Maybe find a creative title so this map stands out more?
I really enjoyed the map, it was extremely fun, thanks for making it!
We did run into an issue with the villagers getting caught behind the glass causing the zombies to just stay in the spawning room. Not sure if it is a bug on my side or for everybody. Other than that, was a lot of fun.
Wow! The time I was gone this map got completly rebumped, I'm glad to see so many happy people
First of all, THANKS for reaching over 2000+ downloads!
Second of all, a new Version has just been released:
Version 1.3 Includes:
- Fix of Critical error in the right lane
- Made the Zombie Pathing more easier, using the features of 1.3.2
- made the Shop Enderman-proof
I'm deeply sorry for any graphic glitches that 1.3.2 causes on the map, I have no control over them.

How is the gold drop sistem?A number of gold per round?how much zombies killed in lava?
Thx and very good map
As of now, I'd like to keep the Moneysystem secret. It's not a fixed ammount, though. If you're interested, check in the map in Creative for yourself, as I don't want to spoil the fun for others!

I'm sorry, I think I'm missing the core concept.
I tried this (for a second time). This time, on my higher powered pc (still found it laggy sometimes). And on multiplayer to see if my son could figure out what I was missing.
First... we put our snow golems into the central lane (after falling in the holes at least once each and being trapped) (and after messing up one of the snow golems by placing a block too low and then too high so that the golem fell down onto a snow block and not the pressure plate). Then we pressed the 'next wave' button ... and waited. We heard something but weren't sure... after looking around, we finally found the zombies IN one of the rooms on the side lane. So our golems would be totally ineffective in the middle lane.
Then we jumped down and killed them too easily - they were completey intent on the villager who was safely behind glass.
We assumed we were confused.
Then we pressed 'next wave' again, and more zombies spawned in the other side lane. But here's what I don't understand. If they spawn IN the room with the villager, they're never going to walk down the lane, and the snowmen will never shoot at them.
They are more attracted to the villager than us players.
In fact, even if the villager was gone, I don't think they would ever necessarily walk down the lane.
I -think- the zombies are supposed to get to the end with the TNT cannon and 3 hearts? But the Minecraft AI simply isn't programmed to do that.
I'm sorry - I think I need to see a video of someone ACTUALLY playing this before I can rate it more accurately.
