Memory Usage, how to increase?

Hi, im wondering if it is possible to increase this it only uses 100mb MAX atm, im on windows 7, i also have 6GB ram and a i7

To change how much memory the server uses you will need the minecraft_server.jar rather than the minecraft_server.exe, but I am assuming you already have it.

Next we will need to create a .bat file to start the server with more memory. Go into the folder containing your server.jar and create a new text file. open it up in notepad and type this -
@echo off
java -Xms1024M -Xmx1024M -jar Minecraft_Mod.jar
then save the file and close it. Rename it to something like "serverstart.bat"
From now on just run your new .bat file to start your server.

This should run your server with 1 GB of memory. to change how much, just change the numbers after Xms and Xmx.
