Is it SAFE to create a minecraft server (port forwarding)

Like don't set offline mode to false leave it to true otherwise people can log on as you. Which you most likely probably don't want

All you have to do is open that program up, hit the + button at the bottom, type in '25565' in your Local Port, and leave everything else alone. Except maybe the Description. Run your server, and tada, your Port is Forwarded.

Generally you're very safe with setting up a minecraft server. Doing it wrong often leads to minor hackers and griefers, but nothing computer-shattering.
