Hey guys and girls and welcome to my first texturepack!

My intention was to design a realistic, but bright and clear texturepack.

I wanted to share it with people who also think that many realistic packs are

just a little bit too dark

...I know it's not perfect, but I'm still working on it.

Hope you enjoy it!

You have to use Optifine or the newest MC-Patcher to get it work properly!

If I somehow ever manage to call the pack my own (mobs and animations really give me a hard time -.-)
I might do this. But this will take a very, very long time 'cause I'm a little perfectionist and never satisfied with my work.
I nearly didn't have the guts to put it online ^^

But thank you very much, all of you!

If I may make a suggestion, darker stone and chests, crafting tables that are darker cabinets, and some more classic looking bookshelves would make this pack perfect for me, you could even put them in a customizer.  this is the realistic pack I was looking for though. Thank you so much!

To change the craftingtable, furnace and bookshelf into a more 'classier look' i would have to redesign nearly the whole pack, because otherwise books and stuff would no longer match :P

Well, this tp is considered to be modernish so unfortunatly I'll have to disappoint you.

But: I will make a customizer for those, who rather like darker textures.

Thanks anyway!
The tp customizer is a very good idea!

WOW! AMAZING! Just what I was looking for. A texture pack that's both HD and realistic! (And not as mainstream :P)

This looks absolutely perfect (speaking in the modern theme of the texture pack). The only flaw that I have a problem with is the text. It's a bit too glossy imo. But nevertheless, I'm still downloading this :D

okay i've been using this pack for the past few days and i only have a few edits for you.
The netherack- it doesn't tile well, its a bad ass texture on its own, but when you enter the nether, the tiling hurts your eyes a bit. its mostly the black splotch in the corner that causes issues.

the mossy and cracked stone brick- It looks a bit like you just sprayed on the cracks and the moss. theres no depth to it. I love the stone brick on its own though.

other then that i love this pack.

oh also, the chests could use a little bit more detail, because with the white they just look like unfinished blocks...

The tp customizer is a very good idea!

Also the customizer is a great idea. I love the bright colors of this pack(especially the stone), But i do agree that some of the blocks like the crafting table, chests, glowstone, and furnaces could use a little bit more detail so that they aren't so blinding >.< everyone has there own opinion though. thats why a customizer would be nice. :D

Hey guys and girls and welcome to my first texturepack!

My intention was to design a realistic, but bright and clear texturepack.

Not all of the textures are my creation (credits for the awesome designers down below!)

I just added them to complete the pack.

I wanted to share it with people who also think that many realistic packs are

just a little bit too dark Posted Image

...I know it's not perfect, but I'm still working on it.

Hope you enjoy it!

You have to use Optifine or the newest MC-Patcher to get it work properly!

Optifine: http://is.gd/wjcOX7

MC-Patcher: http://is.gd/BlzKA1

PS: ctm is included!

The texturepack is fully updated to snapshot 12w22a

(even rubies are already included)

pics of all new textures in my photobucket:

http://photobucket.com/smoothrealistic

Unfortunately the creative inventory in 1.2.5 is now messed up.

So either delete the allitems.png in the gui folder (then you'll get the standardtexture)

or deal with it until the next patch Posted Image

All of your texturepacks really did inspire me!

KoP Photorealism: Thanks for the incredible armor-, fire- and mobtexture (I love, love the zombies and skeletons!) I also got some items from him. http://is.gd/no11jf

__________________________________________________________________

Urbancraft: Thanks to him my texturepack has this awesome modern touch. Thanks for the chest-, workbench-, moon- (yay Starwars!), door- and furnace texture! http://is.gd/UwIw6h

__________________________________________________________________

Featherlight: This lady does make the cows, wolves, spiders and the amazing enderdragon look incredibly overwhelming! http://is.gd/gtkLSJ

__________________________________________________________________

Mitchell's: Thank you for your stunning lava animation, really the best I've ever seen. And the tasty looking chocolate cake, yummie! http://is.gd/GpZUNz

and last, but definitely not least:

JJJas0n's Fancycraft: Brilliant idea of transforming vines into ivies! http://is.gd/5io2cO

again, thank you so much guys, you saved my texturepack!
