No. Forced sacrifices would never happen, and plaything would be destroyed.

I think we actually need something like that in infdev, seriously. In DF you dig too deep, and you hit Hidden Secret Fun (Read: Hell). We need a similar deterrent to keep players on the surface, where they belong.

Oh InputMismatchException, where art thou?

You should be able to bring him to the surface by freeing him from Rl'yeh. This would be pretty much just breaking the blocks above his cage

Yes!
Maybe as one of the rarest mobs spawned. Island tribes can take travelers from distant lands to the edge of a cliff, where they managed to release a blockthulhu miles below into a confined ocean. Using the lasso tool i suggested in a seperate thread, they toss the traveler into the churning ocean where you see him land inside blockthulhu's messy tentacles.

Would make for great machinma's/feeling of actual adventure.

Honestly, once we get biomes, Cthulhu might be kind of cool as a biome-specific mob.

Should be an epic mob which requires a bunch of people to cooperate to take down.

HP Lovecraft wouldn't want this, I don't want it either. It's fucking scary, not a dumb joke to put in minecraft  :?

This would be fun. They are very rare and they spawn deep down. They would take A lot of people to beat.

I'm actually for a huge mob that's very hard to kill, shows up only rarely, and destroys everything in it's path.
The more thigns in the game the better, I say.

I say we need a hidden and mysterious RANDOM omnipotent gods. This way, maybe one time you play you will see Cthulhu, but the next time you generate a new map it would be eg. Krishna, Set, blah blah blah. Minecraft gods ftw.
