Hello everyone,


I'm trying and I spent a lot of time on it, to try using the awesome Flan's Mod on Multiplayer. In SP it's working great without any bugs or errors.

My question is how to install Flan's Mod on Multiplayer Server without a lot of errors. When I tried to install Flan's Mod on 1.2.5 that was horrible (and doesn't work..). But after some web searching I saw that there's no way to install the mod on 1.2.5 cause there's no specific code for 1.2.5 (You can see in this specific fourm a topic about a lot of mods that work great of 1.2.5 but don't work on 1.2.5)

Another question is, and more important to me (because that will be even more useful info in stead of the first question) is:
What is the latest version of "Flan's Mod" which works (without errors) on multiplayer?

So thank you very very much, I spent a lot of time on it and just want to play with my friends on this mod.

its not for a server yet u need to find a server mod cuz servers are programmed diffrently but flan said he is working on a server version.so im gonna get it when the server version comes out i got client version.when i get it on my server im gonna have a war so

yeah i dont think flan has a server out for 1.2.5 or any verison really but it would be so cool i have seen modded servers so i think he will most likely do it

Well I have the client of the mod and I also want to get it on my server but after searching for about a month there has been no success. I know that flan is working very hard but I think he is waiting for 1.3 to come out before he releases it. I also know that he is working on a tutorial for making content packs and that might be at the top of his list. I personally want a batman content pack with the bat tank, plane, helicopter and mobile with a few gadgets like smoke grenades and if possible bat armor. Then I'll make a custom map for it, anyway that's all I know.

You cant mod bukkit with mods, you have too install plugins...

You can mod Bukkit but it's a bit..... complicated
you can download a modded craftbukkit.jar (modloaderMP, minecraftforge etc.) on this Website:

and then install a mod like redpower or IC2 but I think Flan's mod isn't there I'm sorry

For all of you who pass by this thread,
             My guess is that Flan is waiting for 1.3 to come out because of the new multiplayer API that is being introduced. This makes multiplayer modding much easier, and I think that because 1.3 has come out already, Flan is hard at work making his mod the best it can be for release. Nobody would ignore fans and not do what they collectively want, which is a server version. However modding is much easier now with the new API so I would expect a server version of the mod anytime. It will be after the client is released because server is still quite a bit harder to mod, but it should be out a little while after the client is.

Unfortunately, the API got moved to 1.4.  He might be waiting for that, or he might be making a single-player interim version for 1.3... No way to know for sure.

and now that 1.4 is out, he should now probably like a 99.99 percent chance which he is working on it, and actually, he is! you can look at how far he is on this site:

and also, his goal is to be done with BOTH versions, (SMP and SP) before christmas. so don't worry, he is working hard to get this done, and expect the mod done soon.
