You would craft it like a chest but with smoothstone instead. It would give you 4 Chiseled Stone Brick, post feedback and please vote in poll

Well I don't see why not. It would be nice if you could craft it. Well in the new snapshot, it can be found naturally in Jungle Ruins.

I thought it was a great idea, i'd love to craft those blocks, earlier today i was searching ways to craft chisiled stone bricks (i didnt know if it was possible or not) when i found this forum and took interest in your suggestion of creating craftable chisiled stone bricks. I dont know about other minecraft players but i think it would be pretty cool to craft it, i mean cmon, doesnt it look better than any other plain old block? and the way you would like to craft the chisiled stone brick i think is just right, i actually tried that and was surprised it didnt work, im theres creators like you out there that think of these things

I say eight chiseled stone.

How about crafting 4 chiseled stone brick by craft stone brick, but replacing the stone with stone brick.

Should be crafted like Chiseled Sandstone.  2 stone brick slabs = 1 chiseled stone brick.

I say it should be 8 stone like a chest, with an already chiseled stone brick in the middle (returning five from the recipe) That way you till need to find a Jungle Temple :D

No support. Chissled stone bricks are MENT to be rare, this would only decrease it's rarity harshly.
