Here's a new collection of seeds for Minecraft Pocket Edition. I'll update the list as I find more. Contributions are welcome, but all seeds must follow these rules:
World content:
Must contain at least one cactus
Must contain at least one sugarcane
Formatting rules:
Only letters are allowed
The first letter must be uppercase
All other letters must be lowercase
No more than 20 characters
If you find a seed meeting these conditions, post it here and I'll add it to this list.

Define "flat," I'm new. Some of these seeds don't produce much elevation, some produce a good bit. None are completely flat, and all have some water (for the sugarcane). I'm doing a lava seeds thread next... I keep finding lava whenever I'm not looking for it =p
its really stupid that you say the seeds have to be a type of format (like first letter has to be a capitol)
Why do you think it's stupid?
If you look at some of the other seed threads, you'll see seeds like "This is my seed: whee HAHAaa!1" where it's impossible to type the damn thing, or even figure out what it was supposed to be exactly. The format guidelines are meant to remove ambiguity.
teal4thewin is good ( 1. i know it isnt capital but its a good seed, 2. yes i know its my name but i love this seed.) it has plenty of sugarcane and some nice mountains and cliffs on one end of the map

There is no ambiguity. If my seed has a lowercase letter somewhere, that's what you type when entering the seed into PE.
I agree that it's kind of dumb to make that kind of rule just because you could potentially find a good seed that doesn't happen to fit those rules. It'd be kind of dumb to let that go to waste just 'cause you want 'em all to look pretty.
Any seeds with coal near spawn and a good area that is flat?
Potato, but you have to dig down to get the coal. I'll post a screenshot of where to find it later.
Most of the ones on this list, I don't remember much about (that was the point of the list, I want to pick an "unknown" world but still know it has sugarcane and cactus). Try some and see if you spot any coal.

You could make another thread for that seed.
I wanted to have some kind of guidelines to avoid awkward seeds. Maybe these are too restrictive, but you have to draw the line somewhere. I don't care how awesome the seed "$& [email protected] x _ G^h" is, I don't want it in the list. I want the list to be nice and uniform.
As promised, here's how to find coal near the spawn point in Potato.
Here's what you see when you spawn.
Go down by the sugarcane and turn right so the water is at your back.
After you get a stone pick, dig straight down in the highlighted square until you hit a gravel block. You'll be in a coal pocket that will give you about 72 torches.
If you make a staircase out instead of boosting yourself out on blocks, you'll find more coal pockets nearby.

Farming Seeds
Seeds marked in red have lava.

The water cave in Lololo is awesome though. Lolol works too but the sugarcane is hard to find.
