Breaking news!

The mod is already suspended. Why? Because the coder as stopped the development.
Now, I'm teaching myself Java in order to remake the entire mod.

Presentation

CleanWeather is a new mod for change the biome weather system. You can now have two layers of clouds and a dynamic weather changing texture.
In deserts for example, there is no clouds, like in reality.
The mod also adds the desert heat (your vision gets troubled), a new AI for NPCs (a bit changed for weather), fog in swamps, new particles, and hailstones. New features incoming later.

What's up?

In release 1.1.0, there is new particles for waterfalls and a new mod system.

How to install ?

1. Download the mod
/!\ Following recent important modifications, it's recommended to install the mod on a clean minecraft
2. Open the downloaded archive and your  minecraft.jar  with WinRAR or 7Zip
3. Drop all files and folders of the archive in your minecraft.jar
4. Be sure to delete the META-INF folder

I need a video/more pics, looks good so far.
Suggestions: White clouds in Taiga and Tundra biome only because clouds are bright when it snows
(If already implemented, sorry, I haven't seen enough details to see if I should actually install)

Yes it does. It is also incompatible with ModLoader and Forge. Such a shame, it seemed like such a good mod.

Nice job with the mod, but it's incompatible with Optifine.  Chunks end up invisible.  The clouds seem to work pretty well, is there a way to make it so that it only contains that?

That is good to hear. Some modders seem to forget that their mod does not exist in a vacuum and that the users will want to combine it with other mods.

Ideas:

• Add a configuration file?
  
• Clouds and sky in snowy biomes are white
  
• Make vision blur in deserts more smooth
  
• Make biome transitions more smooth (sudden fog in swamps, sudden clouds in desert)
