Hello again, this is my seconde topic here, and im presenting to you all, my Desert Temple!

It is still in work, like mostly in minecraft, cause i often have new ideas how i can change the looking and funktioning.

I was not building day after day on this, i paused some weeks after getting to a point where i dont know how to go on.
But since a few days im inspired to build more and more to get it showable in this forum, so now, here it is.

I will just show a few pics here in this topic, for everyone who wants to see more, visit my album.

So the beginning was the stairs, and i didnt have a plan how it should look in the end, or that it will become a kind of temple ^^


Now i changed the texture pack from default to Sphax PureBDCraft, and build a smal garden with some trees and began 2 towers on the sides.


After that i designed the towers to which you can see here ^^


To give the building a bit more place i expand it to the back and added bridges from the towers to what is behind my garden


And what is behind my garden? There i wanted to create the heart of the building, and began like this




So far i came and than i broke, cause i didnt have any idea how to go on and give it a real nice look ^^
I will continue uploading new pics and hope you can give me some feedback and tell me what you like and what u dont like ^^

I like it. The TP defintely fits well with the build as well.  +1 for you.

It's a shame that the temple is so close to the edge of the desert and that a river + ponds are nearby. If it was fartehr in the desets middle with no water around you could have made the garden like a small oasis temple.

and your right, its a realy small desert, not the perfect location, it proof that i have to think before build more often ^^'

I agree, not feeling the temple aspect of it that much, however yeah, you've done a good job

yes i know what you mean, its hard for me too to say what exactly it seems to be, maybe we will see it in the end, when it becomes more and more detailed and expanded ^.^

I think its time for the main part of the building, which costs the most work and time till now, lets call it "The Palace of Desert Temple"

i think your all right, i should ask you all to find a better name for it, first idea was from Miss_Jillian "my fortified home"

anyone who think he has a idea that fits better than "temple" write it into your post, maybe i choose and rename it

So thx for all your feedback, here are some new pics, i hope you like them and write it down here

At first the palace from inside, the door is behind my back and you look in east direction, so you can see the sun rise behind ^^


Under the palace there i build a real oasis, with plants, and flowers and a little home. you can get here from the stairs to the palace, just go underneath them ^^

Long time no post, but now new stuff from my "Desert Temple" :-)

I thought of something underground of the temple, something like a dark site, if you know what i mean ^^
I started with a simple door:



Like you can see, its under the little balcony to the small garden and from there its going deeper underground:



Now we are entering a secret room under the temple with a big treasure in it! But not jet, first the way down:



Its going deeper and deeper and the stone bricks are older and getting broken. And then we reach the foyer to the secret:



More and more broken stone bricks and a lot of mossy stone bricks nearby, and in the background you can see where we are going next. The tunnels left and right guide us to the secret room of Netherportal:



4 big pillars of nether bricks and the ground out of obsidian, in the center with lava all over it, the netherportal. In front of the portal, under a solid glass-ground a giant glowstone-crystal:



Its directly steering out of the hell into this room, to welcome us and give us some light. Because the last thing we see before we switch into the other world is that:




Thats it, for now the last new things in the temple, and i hope you like what i build, i would like to here what you would like to see in this temple, tell me please, and maybe i put it in, and post it in the future ^^
