The start of my underwater home with a subway loop.
The subway loop will go to a above ground stop at my mine then loop back to the under water house. The underwater house will eventually have four domes coming off the underwater subway stop.
this was the beginning of myplanned underwater dome. sadly the savegame crashed on me.
it was 51x51 and should have got 51 deep as well.
i did that but made a 4 deep island for my house to go on (it has a top layer of dirt) and it took forever to fill in then dig out and then i cover it in a glass dome
Hello everyone. I'm new to these forums and to Minecraft in general. The XBL version was my first experience with Micecraft and have to say I'm kinda hooked.
I'm loving all these screenshots, they give me a lot of inspiration and I can't wait to share some of my own (when I have something worth showing).
Also, great idea creating a generic FB account to dump my pictures in. Such a simple solution I'm embarrassed I didn't think of it on my own. =)
I built the dirt pillar holding the tower up, as well as the tower and the house on the left. also and we have a hidden room under the fountain.

Here is something my friend and I have been working on for a few days. It's a free floating castle and yes that tower reaches the top layer! It still is a WIP lol
You can see the pods above (four 8x8 pads with 2x8 water canals leading to the tube).
Redstone circuit to power trap doors....
Trap doors. The redstone circuit alternates the diagonals to open and close. This keeps the mob in the drowning trap while allowing their drops to fall into a canal below that washes the items into a hole in the roof of the house.

And finally, My personal Fav is the front shoulder view at sunset.
If you have any questions or comment please leave em...!! Now on to more digging and stacking....

Is that fireplace permanently burning? Or are you just burning wood and have to replace it? If its going permanently, id love to know how you did that
