Minerals chest(coal/iron/gold/diamond/redstone/obsidian/lapis)
Building Materials chest(cobble/stone/sand/glass)
Wood chest (logs/planks and any craftable wooden items)
Tools/Armor chest
Mob drops/Nature/Farming Chest
Miscellaneous (dirt/flint/gravel/etc.. uselessthings)

2:dump every thing i dont need atm from my inv into some of the above mentioned chests

Yeah. I have a massive Ethoslab style storage room for all of this stuff except for the potions which are in my potion lab which is also based of Etho's design. I have a farm for practically everything you can farm and I have had this same base since Alpha 1.2.6 and I simply keep MCEditing it into a new world each major update which sometimes kinda sucks because I have to re-light up all of the caves to make my hostile mob system work again and I have to make sure that my slime farm ends up in a slime chunk.
