My idea for finite water

Simple, make it like D3 water placement, still water. Except It would have it's own block, and you could build on it, unlike D3.

EDIT: THIS IDEA IS FOR CREATIVE MODE.

So basically what we have now in infdev except for no logically reason can build on it without any other blocks by it?

Off-topic: it's been a while since a finite water suggestion...

I hate it when everyone thinks that every single suggestion has to be for indev.

This is meant for creative mode, because that's where it really belongs.

It would have been rather helpful if you had said "For creative mode" otherwise we're forced to assume you mean for everything.

but you know that Indev/infdev will soon transform to survial mode...

and all blocks and features that was on indev/infdev will also soon be out to creative mode?

just wanted to tell you :P

How is that relevant in our conversation?
I already knew that, but why would I need to know that now if I didn't before?
It would be an interesting fact, but it wouldn't correspond to our current conversation.
Finite water BLOCKS aren't going to be in SMP, but buckets will.
