Thank you for your help. I hope you can read the important line from the log.
I play on a mac book pro on windows 7 via bootcamp.
It is the original log file. I onlycensored my name to "user name"
I startet minecraft, created a new world. creative modus, superflat and default blockphysic configuration.
If you find a german sentence the translation is: "unable to find the path"

One question, your game folder is not your Desktop right?
I found the answer: C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\

For a temporary fix, try putting MagicLauncher.exe in C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\
and run it from there.

After a bit of trial and error I finally got it working with Magic Launcher by manually placing the forge and Block Physics files into the minecraft.jar telling Magic Launcher to use that modified jar file and NOT adding the mods to the list (because they're already installed into the modified .jar)  This allows the config to be generated properly and everything works regardless of where your Magic Launcher is running.

That being said, this method apparently doesn't work with MultiMC.  In fact to keep the modified .jar from being messed with by MultiMC I had to make the modified .jar read only and not add any mods to the list.  This, while loading the mods well enough, does not get the config file created and moving a copy of the config file does not allow the mod to read it.

i am having a problem of absolutely nothing falling in any world new or not. i have tried to use magic launcher with no luck the tried placing it directly into my minecraft.jar with the same result here is the log i hope it helps i really love this mod also a config file does exist and is regenerated at each new install

Fantastic mod! It meaningfully alters and adds to minecraft more than most mods out there. I am now more afraid of digging up than digging down D:

Bug report:
There is a possible memory leak.
When using the forge version of this mod in conjunction with Dynamic Lighting and Optifine, physics updates will become less frequent over time and eventually stop happening. Blocks stop updating after about an hour of play with default settings, and the time before stopping decreases as the physics update frequency in the cfg file rises.

A few suggestions:
  • Better documentation on the .cfg file. I re-read your post a couple times and I still don't understand half the variables and how to set up custom types.
  • Set dirt to behave like grass by default. I find this setting is more friendly to new users, as it causes less destruction in new worlds. It also makes dirt act more like real-world dirt, which can be quite stable in cliff-faces and steep slopes.
  • Wood that is oriented in a continuous log acts like a collective block. If it falls, all of the blocks fall as one. If enough of the blocks are supported, it won't fall at all. If there is too much weight and too much distance between supports, the beam will break and collapse. If an upright log is subjected to enough force, it will fall over sideways. This will be very good for creating high-strength support beams.
  • Leaf blocks follow log blocks during physics movements, but get crushed and destroyed if they are moved to overlap with existing blocks. Similarly, glass panes and blocks will shatter if they fall any distance.
  • Wooden blocks get affected by gravity, but are really good at supporting one-another and less good at supporting stone blocks.
  • Stairs and slabs get affected by gravity to a somewhat lesser degree than their full-sized counterparts (to reflect the reduced weight). They are still just as effective at supporting blocks in the directions with full-sized faces. Inverted stairs and slabs flip over when they hit the ground after falling.
  • Alter procedurally-generated structures to be more stable. Most notably, the sandstone pyramid and the village church/tower will partially collapse.

I have just found a bug that makes the movedef's unusable, don't even try to put one in the config.
It will change all movedefs to the last movedef setting ( all blocks will behave the same way).

I have to release a bugfix version ( I call this rapid stupid development ) Posted Image !

The physics are switched of when the CPU gets overburdened ( the time of one tick exceeds the maxticktime setting in the config file ), the physics come back when the CPU has less work to do.
Did you check the memory percentages?
( If there is a memory leak, the used memory will reach the maximum allowed (Java VM) size and the game will crash. )
Could you post your mod list? ( I will try to reproduce the bug. )

I want to combine the blockdef:3 with the fragile feature. So glowstone can be combied to pyramides but will be destroyed when they falling. (like glass in reallife)

Nothing wrong, it is working.
But currently the fragile blocks are not breaking when they fall ( I will improve this too, by adding mass and durability to the blockdef's).
They can be broken only by another blocks, try to put a glowstone on top of an other.

Thank you for response. The mass feature would be great. For me a simple feature would help: IF a block is falling more than X(eg 5) blocks down THEN it will be destroyed when it hits the ground (a ground can be every solid block where a falling block has landed). For example glass will not break when it falls only two blocks down. Glowstone will break by falling more than 5 blocks. Cobblestone will break by falling more than 15 blocks.

can u make the version for minecraft 1.4.4 compatible with forge 6.3.0.370 to 6.3.0.378?, or at least the last one if its much work to do? with the 6.3.0.369 version as it is a bit outdated it dont let me combine with other good mods like railcraft...

nvm i installed 1.4.5 so i guess all mods are compatible, but i installed the mod and there are no physics  :(

Millenaire and Dynamic Lighting are also installed, through the mods folder.

It can still be a memory leak: you built a safety net into the mod, so if the leak is within the physics processing code that turns off when too much processing power is used, then it won't crash the game. Regardless of if it's a leak, the bug seems to reside within that code that turns off, given the behavior of the performance issues and memory usage.

Memory usage slowly grows up to 40-50%, at which point the physics turns off. Memory usage will then hover at 40-50% until the game is restarted.

This is with the forge 6.3.0.369 version, by the way. I'll see how the new version fares once I have time.
