Hey im just wondering how this is going to work will it be based on your xbox avatar or is there a way to link your minecraft account to the xbox and you can copy your pc minecraft characters skin

I don't think you can create the custom skin for minecraft xbox 360.
I didn't see any option that let you create your skins

There are a few reskinned Steve skins currently implemented into the game;

e.g. "Tennis Steve, Tuxedo Steve"

When a player joins they will get that Steve skin based on the slot they take up in the lobby.

As of now, there is no way to make/create custom skins.

Kinect scanning, Online skin browser or Draw-your-own skins could work perfect.

at the moment u r just givin a skin when u join a world

in the next update they will have the ability (i meant us derp) to choose from pre-maid skins.And the skins WILL be DLC (not the pre- maid skins)and they said
the price is reasonable and the DLC skins will be in the next update or the update after that.

If we have to pay for ANY DLC, count me out. HUGE turnoff, this game will end up costing more than the original minecraft if we have to pay for any DLC, which by the way has all its features for free.

Seriously would be pissed if we have to pay for ANYTHING else...

mircoft is with a contract with 4j so they have some powers and one of the is to be a jerk and make us pay for skins

To be honest, we should be able to have a "link account" section in the minecraft.net page to connect it to our 360 given we have purchased the game, just as if we did for the PC.

i think you can cange tem if you put it on a flash drive and go into the files and stuff but  its not worth it
