I usually run my minecraft server (it runs bukkit) every day on my server computer for some reason it turned off last night and when I tried to turn it back on I got this error saying

Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
Press any key to continue . . .

I checked what version Java I have and it says that I have 1.7.0_04 installed...so what should I do?

Mind posting your startup script and computer specs?

This is kind of a vauge error, but I got this when one of my RAM chips died.

Do you use EXE or JAR?

Always use the .jar and make a startup script for it with the amount of RAM you need. It could be that one of your RAM sticks has reached end of life (they usually have a lifetime warranty) or has just popped up slightly off the board, causing the issue.

Try with "-Xmx512M" for example, that should temporarily start it up.
