I am going to host a friend of mine's server. I have had my own many times so i know how to make the server, and all that crap. I have my router port forwarded, windows firewall forwarded, i have an FTP server setup for him to upload his files, and the server runs great. But he obviously needs to have access to the minecraft console. I thought using SSH would be the way to go. I have no idea how to use SSH for this. The only other time ive used SSH is for Computer to iPhone. The computer the server is on is Windows, and his computer is a MacbookPro. Please tell me how i would make it where he can use SSH to get into the console. Thanks.

Is the server a bukkit or vanilla?
Windows or Linux server box?
Static or Dynamic ip?

Bukkit, Windows, Dynamic with a hostname with no-ip DUC, so essentially static.

Ok I am having the same trouble with bukkit, vanilla works great with AdminCraft but its not compatible with bukkit, so sorry cant help you any further,
At the moment I have my server setup with teamviewer its an alternative to remote desktop, but if you dont know the people personally I would not recommend this

MCMyadmin allows access to the CP with restrictions to what they can do based on rule tick boxes. You should give that Server CP a go.
