[1.3] WASTELAND Texture Pack

WASTELAND is my very first texture pack.

ABOUT THIS TEXTURE PACK


This texture pack aims to turn your Minecraft into a gripping fight for survival. The Water is dirty, the animals are sick and everything is broken or rusty. This pack is not HD and uses the standard Minecraft resolution. The blocks all resemble their vanilla counterparts. This was done on purpose, to preserve the unique look that defined the original Minecraft.

Don't expect things to loo saturated. The grass is dead, and the colours have faded after the long exposure to the desert sun.


INSTALLATION

Just copy the wasteland.zip file to your texture packs folder. You can find it by opening minecraft, navigating to the texture packs section and clicking the open texture packs folder button.

I also recommend using OPTIFINE for performance and customization. If your computer is able to run it, SONIC ETHER'S UNBELIEVABLE SHADERS can further improve the look of your game.

Glad you like it! I plan on slightly modifying the UI to fit the style of Fallout and the like for the next update.

um, please consider rehosting.. the second completely fails to load, and the first requires you to sign up or log in.. The pack looks great, though! I would download it but I can't :(

I haven't encountered any problems.. everything works great! I love the biome colors..! Are you ever planning on doing the items.png?

should have made it more dark and glum but nice job for it being ur first

Very interesting. A fallout inspired texture pack that stays true to the original minecraft textures. As if minecraft had a nuclear apocalypse. I'll see about making a review maybe. I like it.

Man, finally! A good texture pack I can stick with for a long while. This is really awesome! I enjoy the fact that you didn't stray too far away from the original feel of MineCraft, but gave it your own touch.

I look forward to more work from you!
