There needs a lot of ambient/environment features added to Minecraft I believe. They already added the boulders in the mega taiga (Redwood forest).
I think they still need to add water falls and where ever a waterfall spawns instead of spreading the water all over the place it creates a small, medium or large pond (source of water) around it to make it more natural.
Also they should consider always have fish/ river particles in the water and the ability to turn off and on certain particles instead of adjusting all particles in general.
Another thing is for not to have a river grass, if there sub biome is river it better be a river there, that's just me though.
Also have rivers flowing down hills would be nice rather than having just flat rivers.

Minecraft needs some soothing features like that.

Ever since I joined minecraft I have been dyingv to see real waterfalls in minecraft. Not the single block type that come out of a mountain or drip into a river, but real waterfalls that drop 10s of blocks into a big water reserve.

I started out by making a suggestion page about waterfalls a while ago, but it didn't stay popular as a suggestion, so let's try it as a mod request. I also tried to get someone to make a signature for me about waterfalls but every single persons asked either didn't respond or said tgey would get to it and never did. Anyway, this is my mod request, waterfalls generated from lakes high in mountains, or just over small height differences. Read the older post linked below before commenting.
