Because when an app is updated the ratings are reset so that way the new reviews reflect the current version and not the last version

i checked the appstore but nothing changed. all ratings are there (over 3000)

I'd be surprised if the update got approved that fast.

Actually, the wiki for the upcoming features for pocket edition says "Submitted and waiting for approval" I know that its mostly not true, but its possible that it could be released tonight. Emphasis on MAYBE!!!

you can still see the old reviews if you scroll down enough, but when you see on the top 25 or whatever, it will say the # of reviews for the latest update
