A Deep Investigation of Herobrine

Back in the early stages of classic, you could spawn the human mob by pressing G. This was an utterly boring and useless feature, so Notch removed it (He was the head and only developer at the time). So life went on into alpha. Now Notch has admitted that he isn't the best at coding, Herobrine is proof of this. What happened was when the human mob was removed, Notch left some shreds of it in the code by accident. He didn't notice his mistake and continued developing. So when alpha rolled around, something happened. The human mob's coding was scattered, and a secret project that Notch was working on was activated by accident. The random skin generator. The human mob's skin was randomized and screwed up by it, thus making those creepy eyes. This also explains a load of minecraft creepypastas based on other mysterious mobs. So, as the updates kept coming, Herobrine's coding kept getting scattered around, so Notch or any other mojangster couldn't stumble upon it. Eventually someone ran into Herobrine and all the meme and creepypasta bullshit started. By beta 1.5 Notch and Mojang were obviously horribly irritated by this so they skimmed the code to look for bugs. Just before 1.6 they found a parchment of Herobrine's code. So they removed it. As a half joke they put "removed Herobrine" on the changelog. Obviously the Herobrine encounters kept happening. So they kept going over the code and removing whatever they could, in every update they could. Then finally in 1.2.3/1.2.4 they spent an entire day pulverising every bit of Herobrine's code they could. My guess is that Herobrine may have been finally removed that day, but every once in a while someone sees a person with glowing eyes and the default skin in singleplayer...
Now, onto my opinion of all this. I don't believe that Herobrine is a supernatural being, nor do I believe he is fake. The above paragraph clearly shows you what I believe. Is it the truth? Only one person knows: Notch.

Actual feedback on the text: It is a very interesting text, you are definitely good at writing factural texts, I wouldn't mind seeing some more from you.
Some things would be creepy if they were in minecraft, Herobrine for example.

Believing in Herobrine is pure stupidity, as there is one.
How can anyone even admit the existence of Herobrine, if there is absolutely nothing proving his existence in the Minecraft source code? As an entity, and a quite complex one, it can't be just hidden somewhere in the hard-to-understand parts of the code.

Unless Mojang sneaked all the coding into a hidden class file along with all the textures and such. Or maybe the file takes the Human texture and can manipulate and remove the pupils from there.
Either way, he definitely isn't in the PC version. However, I do believe he's in the Xbox version (Or was.)
If you look up the video "Strange Sounds in Minecraft Xbox" you can hear the player keeps hearing doors opening and closing. Then he looks in a window, and Herobrine can be seen behind the text on the screen. He wasn't noticed by the user, and when the user went behind the house to where Herobrine was spotted, he isn't there. I think that's real because his white eyes can clearly be seen, and that was before the Skin Packs came out. Also, he checked the player list moments before looking in the window, and it showed only he was on the server. Plus, Herobrine had no nameplate.
Real? Or just amazing editing?

I was playing on SMP and I was building a base for my faction so I went outside to get some wood when I saw it, a hole in the ground and light was coming from it so I told the rest of the faction to come And go in it with me ( I thought that an enemy faction was camping inside it ) so we jumped in and there was a few torches and a crafting table In it and a cave was connected to it so we went in the cave and eventually we got to a dead end and once we got there we decided that who ever was living in it had logged off so we all went back to the base but 1 of us stayed ( it was not me ) so after about 5 seconds the one who stayed yelled out in the chat A NAME TAG SOMEONE IS DOWN THERE so I told him to accept my teleport request but he had already returned to the base so I told him to show me where he saw the name tag and he showed me so he went back to the base and I was mining down because that's where he saw the tag but I found nothing and the next day our base was gone and so was the hole so I'm not sure if this was Herobrine or some troll but I really wish I could find out..........

The only thing that we players can do is decide through logical and objectively if there would be a possibility.
You did done that good.
