"Baby" steves..no offence but i think we know that it would need a lot of ina' stuff mind.
So my opinion is No, since (Anoying (not all)) kids play mc...even your suggestion is ..wierd :/

1. Notch doesn't work on the game anymore.
2. Baby steves eh? Well, you need to be more specific on how they'd be born. Would Steve mingle with the NPCs untill on a romantic, moon light shined night he has some adult fun with one of them? Would he jump a chicken and wait for it to lay an egg? Would he make a creeper explode in extasy? Would he add another bone to the skeleton's body? Is the Dragon Egg really a decendent of Steve and Mrs. Dragon who lives in the void with it's possy of creepy peeps? You need to be more specific with your suggestion lad.

I'm not sure which neurons snapped off at the axon for someone to write down "Notch should make it so you can make baby steves =)" (which, even if it wasn't a bad suggestion and had, in fact, some meager value to the game, has absolutely no description of it what so ever) but I'm pretty sure they were important to thinking properly.
