I have a server (1.5.2) that a few friends and I play on, we've decided to call it Rollcroft.
There are only a few plugins (Permissions, mcmmo, LWC(chest protection), Logblock).
We have extensive anti-grief plugins, so there's not much to worry about.
We're just looking for a few more people to play with us, and might eventually add a few more plugins, based on what people want.
When the few of us play, there is no lag.

We play with no agenda, just doing whatever we fancy.

This server is 24/7 and has been since online since May 11, 2011. 24 slots.

Before you join: We typically have 4-8 people online at a time. We don't want this server to be super busy. There are no /give or /tp commands. This is near-Vanilla. Everything is built legit.

What does "near-Vanilla" mean?

Spoiler:

This server is meant to be "life-like" in a few ways:
No flying, no free items, no teleporting.
If you do something a lot, you become good at it (mcmmo).
If you want to trade with people, you have to be physically present (no permanent shops).
There is a cost to dying (you can use /back for the cost of 1 gold ingot).

Description of our monthly dragon event:

Each month, around the 15th (usually on Saturday at noon central), we have a Dragon Hunt event. A second end world is created exclusively for this event. A portal to the second end is hidden somewhere in the world, with clues given to finding it. The first person to find the portal, kill the dragon, and get the egg gets to keep it.
