New dirt is soooooooooo much better. The old dirt looked like plastic cubes. There are two places I think the pack can be better, though.

1. Use painterly's signs. They're WAY easier to read than quandry's.
2. Please, please please get rid of the custom menu interfaces. A lot of the darker items can't even be seen against the panels. Either use the alternative, much lighter interfaces for crafting and chests (I don't know what to do about furnaces), or get rid of 'em. Preferably get rid of 'em. Or make a separate pack with the custom interfaces, and one without them.

I will work on this immediately, thank you for your support. :SSSS:

Love this pack except that the grass sides are a bit too short.

About halfway between the original quandary and this.
Also the torches could have some touching up done.
EDIT:
Diamond also looks off center Posted Image

Okay then, I will work on this.

then again, if I do like the longer grass than what I have now, then I might just have one texture pack download rather than two separate ones...

Edit: the diamonds do seem out of place...

v2.8 is a go.

Longer grass, better torches, and sleek sandstone.

i REALLY did enjoy the long grass on the side of dirt blocks. if you could somehow add that or make a seperate pack with it, i will love you forever :) (no homo doe)

If you like this longer side grass, be sure to love me forever. (no homo though...)

I do agree the signs are a little harder to read, compared to Painterly...but I use signs for decoration (arms of "chairs" and "sofas"), and the Painterly signs don't look so great when used like that.

Really...somewhere closer to the default style for signs (not too dark to read but not too bright that it doesn't match well with wood items) would probably work best...just throwing that out there.

I currently have an easier to see version of the quandary sign that is easier to read.

But you do have a point when it comes to your use of signs to make couches and arm-chairs.

So I will see what I can do when I can, without sacrificing eligibility.

The grasscolor.png in the misc folder is wrong version (the original grey, non-biome compliant Quandary version.) You should be able to just delete it to make it work properly.

I guess that means that biome gradients aren't bugged on Macs?

Now I hate to be picky and all but.
Torches enter walls

Also I preferred the old sand stone only so it blends with sand.

I'd appreciate if you could upload your texture pack to multiupload from now on.

I have a premium megaupload account, and it's annoying to have to download from these other hosting sites. I'm sure a lot of other people prefer to download from hosting sites of their own preference too. multiupload mirrors the file to various hosting sites almost instantly, and the user can choose where they want to download it from.

Here's a :Notch: for your assumed cooperation, and a :SSSS: in case you don't :)

So I suppose I should delete my misc folder... since it really isn't doing anything, in fact.

I will edit the torches once again!

and replace sandstone to what it once was before.

I am used to mediafire.

But for your sake I will provide you the same download in multiupload as well.

Thank you all for your feedback, a :Diamond: for each of you!

This looks really solid and I'll be checking it out more in depth tonight when I get home as I've decided the Texture Rotator Quandary suggests apparently hates me and made me :SSSS: my everything at least three times last night. Except that I somehow managed to not lose my saves. *Shrug* Which was really exciting a few minutes ago when I realized it.

Yay for breaking Minecraft!

Oh, and I just noticed your name is Capt. Corn. I'm CornflakeJustice, are you my long lost father?

:P OH CAPTAIN MY CAPTAIN! *salutes*

Well I know what I'll be playing with tonight! Fortunately the girlfriend is not over tonight and I haven't gotten LBP2 yet so I can actually brain bust my way through fixing Minecraft again without getting wined at for not paying attention to her!

A :Pig: for you captain!

Very well then. But first I must give you my "cameraguy" download via private message and you can take all the pictures you want!

Send them back to me on the private messenger and if I like them your pictures will earn a spot in my forum.

Thank you for your contribution. :D
