Also, why did you put "Torhan" at the bottom of your post? It's not like we can't see the user name on your profile.

I  just wanted to say Thanks to everyone who has downloaded the Texture Pack.

I would like to know what people who have downloaded it think, or even what you think based on the screen shots.

Do you like it?
Do you think it should be changed? if so, how do you think it should be changed?

Let me know.

Thanks!

Gaaaah i love you! Haha im the exact same!, i really like playing in the default texture pack because it feels alot more like minecraft but the glass texture is so f*cking ugly! it ruins the look of every building in my opinion! I'm super glad you made this texture pack and I will definitely be using it!

BlackenedSins: Awesome man!!! I'm glad that you like it and are going to use it.
I agree with the default glass ruining the look of things, it drove me crazy and I finally gave in and made
this texture pack.

Enjoy man and thanks for commenting.

Perfect. I like the original texture pack, but glass you can't see through is a pain in the butt. :D Any chance of a version with black or dark gray edges?

One texture and you call it a texture pack? I could make this myself in less time than it would take for me to download it from mediafire.

My wip 32x texture pack.

I highly doubt you can open up an editor, change the image, and save it faster then you can download 5mb, unless you're on dial-up.

And just for your information some people may be able to create a texture pack easily, other people don't know how or just don't want to do it.I simply provide them with easy access to something i felt like sharing, since I found it frustrating that i wasn't able to find a decent texture pack with clear glass that didn't change things drastically.

I enjoy the default pack, i just didn't like the look of the glass.

Besides, nobody is forcing you to download the texture pack, and I stated at the top its the default pack with just clear glass.

That's not trolling. That's the truth. Anyway, there are plenty clear glass texture packs. Go search using Search.

Way too many people believe trolling to be "This person say thing I don't like."
Trust me, trolling is nothing like this.

That's obviously an exagerration yes, but most really good texture packs can take months or even years to be completed.
However they often get nudged off the front page after a big update due to so many clear glass, clean/simple/bucketfill/single colour/"lag free" and alpha themed packs that take a few minutes to make being uploaded literally everyday (This. Is not an exagerration.) that they don't get any attention.

Search for "clear glass" and you'll find quite a few.
Here's a tip: Search for your pack first. If there's quite a few results of the same thing, it's probably a good idea to think of a new theme to make.

If someone at the start had uploaded one simple pack, one clear glass pack and one alpha pack and that was it, nobody would mind. It's just the fact we get so many. Since they all end up the same, it gets a bit annoying.

I can make this in 5seconds... I really can. The fact that you have more downloads and talk, when my texture pack has months of effort. Grr......

The thing is that when I created my texture pack earlier this year I was unable to find a default texture pack that was just the clear glass with default everything else.

That's when I took the time to make one. I also figured since I wanted it, someone else may have wanted it too, so I shared it via mediafire and the forums.

Apparently I was right since it now has 1200 + downloads.

Beyond that, I don't even try to bump the texture pack, I check the thread once a month if that to see if anyone comments and then i reply, otherwise i just let it sit there,

If it annoys you so much, go rag on the guys trying to get people to use ad.fly links for a freaking default pack with one change.

Heck, beyond replying to people, the next time I update this thread will be when 1.3 comes out and I put up a 1.3 clear glass pack.

Besides, I check out almost every texture pack that I see hit the forums, because I at least want to try and support the people putting effort into making texture packs, even if I don't use them.

How about changing some blocks so the clear glass looks nice with it?

I'm a texture pack artist. Not a very good one, but an artist just the same. Here's the pack I'm working on. http://www.minecraft.../#entry12746144

That's just the thing, I didn't want to change the default look of the other blocks.

And there are many texture packs out there that have changed the default blocks and cleared up the glass, they aren't bad either, I just wanted to keep the default block look but clear up the glass,

For some odd reason I prefer the default block look, but that's my preference..
